Good on ya from showing the barras some love this episode mate. Respect it, it can be pretty hard mental battle as an angler to not target big fish because you know they’ll just get nailed. With the tech these days the big girls don’t have a chance to breed in peace. When you think every metre plus breeder produces about 30million eggs in a season it can be pretty detrimental to the future stocks for them to be all nailed by sharks. Love your content bro. Keep it up, and keep respecting your local fishery.

Would love to see you trying different smaller lures in the mangroves on light gear. Such as cranka crabs prawn lures. Also would love a micro jigging sesh(20grm jigs )
i reckon make a different chasing giants series on a different species during the closed season. but keep at the 120cm barra after the closed season. Loving the vids!!
Love this series mate, the pursuit of one unicorn fish is something we all can relate to, be it Jewfish, Flathead snapper or barra anywhere in the country. Good to know that the commercial operations are finally phased out up there, should help with that 120 popping up eventually cheers

We all love this series, but don’t break yourself to the point where you dread going out to film for it. We all just love seeing you catch great fish! Maybe go back to weekly as per usual and drop one of these per month as a special treat for us.
Catch the shark for a bit of fun imo. They look pretty big and a bit of a laugh to give you the run around, and lets face it there bigger than 120cm. Just be super cearful, extra long de-hookers and all ways stay clear of the toothy end 🤙👌👍.
