Thank you for your interest! Lovely Smudge isn’t up for adoption as he’s found his forever home at Blind Cat Rescue, a lifetime care sanctuary, where he helps show that blind cats are just as wonderful as any other. We hope he inspires more kind people like you to consider adopting a blind kitty in their local area! Lovely Smudge's eyes had, sadly, been irreversibly damaged during his life on the streets, most likely due to an untreated upper respiratory infection, which is how many cats lose their eyes. But now, in the safety of the sanctuary, he’s living a normal, happy and fulfilled life as a blind cat, surrounded by care and comfort. Blind cats don't know they're blind, they just know they're cats! 🙏
I adopted a blind kitty, who likely lost her vision due to the herpes virus when she was a kitten. Blind cats can live happy lives as long as they are kept indoors. They adapt very well, provided their environment is a safe one. My little girl sure did.❤️
He's Smudge-a-licious to me. Such a sweet fella 💙

You could project little movies on his side.
What a sweet boy, is he up for adoption? Location?

This breaks my heart - it’s so unfair he cannot see...why did he have to lose his eyes?

The smudge is bred ,into white cats so the breeder knows they're not deaf .
