Thank you for such amazing guides! I'm kind of new to the game and I've been trying to clear harder content, have to say that your guides are extremely helpful! I just pulled Wilhelm and my gear is extremely limited (I don't have any Clash of Wills equipment). My cousin told me that he used to equip Blizzard Orb on his tank for counterattacks, do you know if this works with Wilhelm as well? Thank you again for such amazing guides and overall very informative videos! I'm so glad you were able to get the shards you were aiming for and a bit more!
It absolutely works on Wilhelm, however, in order for it to work Wilhelm has to take more than 5 attacks in a turn. The reason for this is that each instance of counter is limited to 5 times per turn. Wilhelm has a counter ability in his kit that triggers first, so the first 5 counters will be that ability. However, if he is wearing a blizzard orb or similar ability with counter, he will then have another ability which can trigger up to five times. So in trials where he can get hit enough times, he can counter with his normal attack (which is a perfect dispel).
I had the same thing happen when i pulled two Clives. No upgrade animation for either one so i was like “oh bummer not Clive.” And then lightning struck twice. Nice pull though
Congrats on Wilhelm. I pulled a freaking Clive yesterday from daily vid pulls. I would've been fine with it if I didn't already 3/3 him a week ago. I thought it was going to be the new Rain or Taivas. Like Clive what are you doing here?? Not even Cid or Benedicta popping up instead smh.
Personally, I'm pulling for rain/Taivas. Works better for my team comp, plus my team is mostly elite soldiers, so Taivas and his overdrive will be dead useful.
@@gerrtt84 But did you actually SUMMON that Unit when it did the animation the first time or was the unit given to you previously at which point you got another from a summon and it did it then? Cuz i think it all depends on how you obtain the unit in the first place, given via an event Vs actually summoning the unit

I dont think the animation shows if you already got the unit, i believe thats how it works anyway
I mean…I have gotten the animation off tifa, zyrus, dark fina, lasswell before after I already had the unit.

The blue NV+ animation is completely random at times. It's been happening to
me a lot lately, especially whenever I pull blood mage zyrus
