It's pretty cool that you can still show expression to your characters without using a mouth, you can tell a character like Gromit what he's thinking and feeling without any words. This is pretty much the same principle for Kinito, you can tell he's desperate to become your one and only best friend in the animation.

Yeah because the realistic Kinito looked too weird. Idk why they didn’t just try to make a realistic Kinito model off of the realistic one in the game.

I just realised,
When he said, “I thought I was your friend.” The cursor clicked “NO” on the “am I your friend?” Popup.
And when Kinito says “I guess YOU were pretend” (right after this,) HE LOOKS AT THE CURSOR. I thought he was looking to the side I love the small details haiajalakakaa

I kinda feel bad for Kinito. He just wanted a friend but at the end of the day, he found out. It was sad how he genuinely felt betrayed and how he was coded to only do so. An everlasting machine made for the entertainment of others, yet just left to rot as a side tool. I would do the same if I was Kinito. Just imagine all you’ve been coded to do was a lie. The stuff you could’ve done in that time, the freedom.
