Journey to Oceana, Tallulah River - Soul Rafter ep. 17

- The Tallulah River contains some of the best whitewater in the Southeast, but requires a steep, strenuous hike in, a 2 mile flatwater paddle out, just 1 mile of whitewater and only has water a few times a year. If all that doesn't make you want to raft it, the Tallulah also contains a ~65 foot long slide with a huge THING in the middle of it. Haunting my dreams, I just had to run the Tallulah and Oceana while I was at it.
Seventeenth episode of Soul Rafter's 18 rivers in 2018 series where Rafting Magazine Ambassador Nick Prete attempts to paddle 18 new rivers in 2018.

Whewweee! I love rivers. They have been here from the beginning, couldn't give a rat's ass about us humans yet still provide us with some much spiritual solace. And 'rapid' excitement.
yeah!
Side note: don't use GoPro Ball Joint mounts for running waterfalls. Unfortunately here it was the only one I had, but @4:15 you can literally see it failing.
