Get a little education. Our first president Dr. Nkrumah acquired several lands from the Ga's for development. Those lands are own by the state and for that matter anyone ocuppying the presidency. Because Kumasi was not the state capital, this was not the case in the Ashanti Region. A few lands have been acquired by the state in that region but we do not hear much about them because it is not the first choice area for political elite and rich people. Infact most of the people stealing these state lands are those politicians and rich people from Ashanti, Northern, Bono, Central etc regions. This is the truthand not because any region was doing better with land issues. If not, ask yourself why some regions are plagued with galamsey. Dont we have the same chiefs there to govern the land?
