Furthermore, if I know the writers, Samson will likely die after you get another fight with Sam and Lydia over Esther. We know that this year he will finish his A-levels, the last we heard he was top of his class so he likely will be accepted into Cambridge or Oxford. Yet again, Sam and Lydia, will have objections to him going and missing out on Esther growing up. Or Alice may have left some money in her life insurance for Samson and they will want to give it to Amelia and Samson will object. he could take the money and leave and that is when he meets his end. But whatever happens, Sam’s worst fears he expressed to Cain, will come true. Samson will miss out on Esther given she is not even 2 yet, she won’t remember him at all.
Even after all the things Samson has said and done. Sam loves him an will always be there for Samson no matter what - he’s very lucky to have a dad like Sam.
@@jjo8277 I thought it seemed clear that they were building Samson as a conflicted bad boy with, ultimately, a heart of gold. Contrasting him with Noah who would mostly be good, a little soft maybe, but of course he has a nasty history with chloe and now is bordering possessive with amelia. You could grow these characters over time wuth the conflicting elements of their character. But now you've just got Samson going back to normal and Noah being pathetic.
You'd be surprised how many young lads act like this when they get someone pregnant. It happens more often than you think. Samson's storyline is realistic.
I hated him for what he did and the way he's behaving. But he admits now that what he's done is wrong and wants to redeem himself. There's hope for this character I feel.
I wish they did a ghost version of Alice and literally the writers could try make her reason with Samson tell him like maybe she did not want to be a mother then she realised the life Samson would never of had if she gave him away. Maybe that would of been a way for Samson to actually change for good
Why people saying he has to step up ? He doesn’t have to if he doesn’t want to . If any women can decide to get rid off the baby without any say from the father or if the mother can ban the father from seeing the kid then the father should at-least have a say if he doesn’t want to be a dad or if he should pay for anything . Samson has said multiple times from the start but everyone keeps pushing him even when he said no over and over again if they just listened to him and backed off then he wouldn’t go to extreme lengths to get away from them all. Honestly this storyline for samson is so bad the guy was such a nice kid they should have done it for someone else it just ruined samson character who went from having a huge crush on Amelia to now not liking her .
Getting the same whiplash vibes that happened with Chas and the familiy's almost instant forgiveness like nothing has happened, while the wounded party gets left in the dust...
Samson you can do this man. Yes it will be hard but if you walk away now you're gonna miss out on so much, not only that she will grow up not knowing her Dad. I understand your a child but you have people around you who care, love and wanna help you. You a good man at heart Samson and you know it and you can show that by stopping thinking you're not gonna be a good dad because you think you messed up your own life you never did. Everyone messes up at some point we can't be perfect or normal all the time. Lastly your mum dying isn't your fault mate she was ill with cancer you couldn't of predicted how it was gonna end for her she loved you and she didn't wanna see you suffer so she took her life so you could have a better one.
