Hi Sam, I can totally relate with you when you mentioned about the weather changes in Calgary. I had the same experience while I was visiting family about 8 years ago, while it was sunny throughout the day (it was around this time of the year), all of a sudden the weather changed and there's even hail coming down from the sky! That's probably the main reason why we finally chose Vancouver....but still, good luck with the new life there, and more importantly, further infiltrate that "HK" Spirit!
Temperature changes in Calgary can differ in up to 20 degrees from overnight lows to daytime highs. My advice for ppl who never lived in Calgary is to dress appropriate for the weather, because it can be unpredictable at times.

相對Vancouver, Toronto大城市，Calgary 真是搵工好難，聽過有人搵咗三四個月都搵唔到嘢做，除非你係香港做老師/社工，可以轉本地牌，Daycare 經常請助理。Office的工作多數請有本地工作經驗嘅人，而且受天氣限制，好多工作一到冬天就停工，其他行業都好靜，所以都係一個難題😢
所以我以前讀完書即刻返香港搵野做
有啲case係最近喺多倫多搵唔到工，諗住走過來Calgary，點知仲難搵工，錢又洗晒，結果返香港⋯⋯

@@Leafkaa501 以 downtown作中心點，street係由北到南（打直），avenue係由東至西（打橫）。中間係Centre Street. 由市中心開始, street同avenue number 每個方向，向外由細到大增加。
所以會SW, SE, NW, NE都會有1st Street,同1st Ave。一定要清楚自己喺市內邊個方向同要留意路牌。Calgary d路牌如果係number街名一定會寫明係SE, SW, NE NW
根據同這裏的前輩講解，將 Calgary 十字𠝹豆腐，北到南以 Center Street & Macleod Trail，東到西以Memorial Drive & 1 號公路（近西邊一段），去分東南西北區。
Calgary‘s water almost is the hardest in Canada. I changed the filters more frequently than when I was in Winnipeg.
I believe Winnipeg is constantly cold while Calgary is variably cold.

可以去Canmore和kananaskis，无穷无尽的trail。自来水好硬，用过滤器滤芯，家里装加湿器，在外面只能喝多一点水防干热中暑

Calgary is always windy and also hail storm in summer. Be careful your car and roof top that can be a damage .
個邊house price 被壞agency 炒好左好高 都揾唔到好屋。之前單房$400～600， apt $900～1200， 好多岩岩從溫哥華搬卡加利 post個adv 都好高 ，咁landlord就漲價咯😢😢😢😂😂😂😂😂😂

Hi 肥Sam，你架Rav4 揸轉由BC到calgary同日揸了10粒鐘多，部車頂吾頂得順，我上次部Rav4，CaIgary→BC，揸完後發覺機油盆滴油，己經分兩日揸，每兩小時停一次，可能過熱😅 。有機會講下在卡城驗車，及換駕駛執照過程，我知老過四年的車輛在卡城要驗車，我在Toronto搬到BC時，在lCBC更換車牌要用抽簽方法抽出五條問題，答中才Pass。不知卡城是否須要再考？遲D 有緣在Calgary見。

冬天冇得街跑😢
往係Calgary 夏天真係好爽嘅，但居於草原省份冬天就見真章，暴風雪和極寒天氣就司空見慣的現象，剩係剷雪都懷疑自己得到剷後抑鬱症。遇著冰雨情況仲閉翳，隨時會斷電!冬天揸車就更加要提醒十三分情神，更要經常洗車，因為鹽酸會腐蝕汽車車身!正所謂食得鹹魚抵得渴，祝君好運。
我又唔覺Calgary冬天咁差，啱啱個冬天，零下10度或以下嘅日子加埋都係三個星期，我鏟雪都係剷咗大概五次。其實大部份時間都係零下10度以上。過咗嚟Calgary三年，一次Hail Claim 都未試過。
卡城落乾及粉雪，好容易剷雪。而且乾爽，又近洛 磯山。住咗30年，感覺得多過失。
卡加利夏天陽光猛過温哥華？
非常啲好陽光，好多時候令人頭痛再咁發生
