When one looks at a map, one may not think anything about this little remote island that is located off the south coast of Nova Scotia, one of the largest provinces in Canada. However, those that know, especially those that watch the Curse of Oak Island TV show today, would tell you how this tiny spec of an island is filled with so many mysteries, it has attracted the attention of hoards of young men looking for their fortune and some adventure for over 200 years.
Incredibly, one would find that the main reason these young men made their way to the island for all this time was because they were hoping to come across the treasure that is rumored to be hidden on the island. This all started when this kid named Daniel McGinnis came across this circular depression on the ground while he was wandering around the island in 1795.
