So you discovered this a year ago and you felt late to the party..... I am just now discovering matte laminating sheets so I guess I am REALLY late to the party! LOL This is mind blowing to me! I am about to buy some of this stuff and go crazy laminating anything and everything! THANK YOU!!!
Yes I’m excited too! I didn’t realize you could laminate one side. Silly me I thought the laminate didn’t stick to the paper, just created a sealed pouch.
Laminating sheets are so underrated. I just organised all my clear stamps into lever arch folders using laminated sheets, absolutely brilliant things, also fab for die cutting your own stencils too.

I buy card from the cheapest source, in UK places like Craftstash, Viking Direct etc usually sell 250gsm white card for a very reasonable price. I only use 250gsm for the body of a card. I buy packs of lighter weight (lighter price too!) for toppers and decoupage. When I did my stamp storage, I used lightweight card from pound shop, printed onto 2 sheets: one goes behind the laminated clear sheet holding the stamps so you can see where they go back to after use and one sheet is at the front so you can see what the printed image looks like. The I put all 3 sheets into a clear A4 plastic sleeve and into the lever arch folder. And by sorting them and separating into categories, I have found things I didn’t realise I have.....like 2 folders full of sentiments 🤭🤫😃
And don’t laminate the printed sheet or you have to redo a new one if you ever have new stamps to add.

I haven't used my laminator in ages, and since you started doing these videos, I no longer use mine for sealing documents. I have now laminated napkins, decoupage paper and quilting cotton fabric. I've done videos using this technique and the napkins cut like a dream through my die cutting machine. Now that I know I can buy matt pouches, there'll be no stopping me. I like the glossy look with the regular laminating pouches but the matte pouches are so vintage.....love this.

I've thought about getting a laminator, but don't know all uses of them,except for important papers. For CRAFTING!!! live the vellum look with the matte finish. Have to watch future videos to see about adding THIS type of machine to my over crowded sewing/craft room. Lol. I have seen where pouches where made with these. But I don't have any reasons for them at this time. Love the outcome of them. I'll keep watching.. thanks for sharing. A d you seemed so thrilled to discovered this..puts a smile on my face..😀👍👍

Positively Papercraft Ann, Guess what! I was telling a neighbour about how lovely it was to still see such enthusiasm of something so ordinary as a laminator. She is not a crafter but loves the cards I make for her. The next day she arrives at my house saying...’ many years ago my daughter was so sick of her office promising to get one for her, she saw a cheap one in Lidl’s and bought it. They day she transported it to her office, the new one from the company was awaiting her’. So an unused simple laminator, still unopened with a pack of A4 pouches had been sitting in her cupboard at home and has now been gifted to me. It just confirms to me that in this life you only need good friends and family in order to be happy. So this ‘happy ‘ old lady will soon be trying to discover if she can master using it and make some of your brilliant ideas. How lucky am I !!!

Well like many here what a surprise. After just watching 3minutes of this video, I clicked on the link for the Matt lamination sheets and ordered straight away. The thing about Matt it's easier to put foiling onto it. Kind regards Paul from London

Anne you are a delight! It’s always wonderful to see someone who ❤️ and is is excited about what they do for a living! The ability to make custom vellum sheets is a game changer. I look forward to any projects you do, whenever you get to them. Don’t stress yourself out! Maybe your viewers can come up with a few things for _you_ for a change while you’re in the process of moving. I think that package said 80 pouches, so if you laminate two items at a time, as you did, that’s at least 160 items _and_ you can use the same copy paper each time if you’re careful. Thanks for sharing, this is really a great addition to paper crafting! I also flip the napkin upside down, with the pretty side facing the two sheets of copy papers, and I love the result. The print is exposed without plastic (the back of the print is laminated) so it gives a velvety touch plus a vivid pattern of the napkin. And it is still water proof. :)

Not sure how I originally found this video, but I subscribed immediately! I looked on Amazon in the US and couldn't order the ones you recommended. I found TruLam matte pouches. 100 per box. I finally got them and was able to try it today. Holy carp!!! I'm going to laminate everything!! I tried the napkin and it's amazing. But I also did one of my gel prints on copy paper. Obviously it's not translucent, but it adds some weight that will be perfect for cutting and adding to mixed media pieces. Thank you so much for sharing this!! 😆
