@@sandeepmadan1 ji, Dilip Kumar sahab was an intellectual and a quick learner. He could discuss any topic under the sun, without preparation. He had command over English, Hindi, Urdu and some of the regional languages as well. He was offered to play a key role in the English film " Lawrence of Arabia " way back in the 1950s. Dilip Kumar sahab politely turned down the offer as he was overbooked for dates in India. That shows his professional integrity. Incidentally, method acting was introduced in films by Dilip Kumar sahab for the first time in the world in, 1945. Merlin Brando followed suit in 1949 and subsequently other actors. The great director Satyajit Ray ji called Dilip Kumar sahab, the ultimate method actor. While his contemporaries were playing themselves on the screen, Dilip Kumar sahab gave character to the roles he was playing in. That is why the characters he played were realistic. He believed in quality rather than quantity. Truely he was an actor par excellence and is beyond compare.

His enviable command over any language which the mass understands Hindi or English or Urdu, his choice of words. I have never seen a better orator than him in the film world and why film among personalities of other world. His voice his pause his captivating smile his taking over the stage his addressing to each and everyone on dias, he is the best.,
