Roman & Medieval Finds in Forest #49

Welcome back to Panonnia Metal Detecting!
After a long break, due to bad weather and lot of private work, we finnaly back on the field.. well forest! Among the trenches and positions from Croatian war of independence, lay small hidden area with some roman stuff hidden, as well suprise finds of newer finds from 17th century! @@MD_Panonnia We have the same here in Norway, with finds going back to bronse age. But far less people, trade and activity here, so farther between the finds.

Have you detected the dirt piles they made while digging the trenches? they probably dug up stuff that was too deep to find with a detector.

Yes many of them I did check out, but sadly nothing was on them, but there is several miles of these trenches so maybe some luck next time 😊
