(Luddite is a Roll & Write in the same universe) Right now Gamefound is fixing some issues, they closed the Late pledge and Pledge Manager. Will hopefully be solved in a couple of days. Keep an eye out if your interested! I already though this wasn't a game for me, and your video confirmed it, Thanks! Always nice to know either way. I am very much looking forward to Luddite though. Seems a lot less complicated and I love the art, gameplay and the fact the story is told via a comic. 😃
Very interesting, thx for this review. I've been looking at getting ISS Vanguard at the end of the year, and now this looks like a good alternative. I've watched your video on Vanguard. Would you be willing to say which you enjoyed the most, and why? And any other gamers out there, your opinions on this?
They are so different. I think that Vanguard is much more of a story driven and immersive experience whereas this is a Legacy game with some nice background and environmental dressing. I would say I prefer Vanguard over Solar because it is more unique. However that is certainly a matter of preference. I think Vanguard is also much more frustrating to play vs. Solar because it is based so much on dice checks. Solar is more of a game whereas Vanguard is more of an interactive experience.
Good to know, thx much. I tend towards the 'experience' factor rather than the game factor. For instance I very much like games such as Neanderthal, which some say is too much affected by the dice throw, whereas I don't really care if I win, just enjoy the immersive experience. @@JohnLaRuffa
