He looks so gaunt which is a real shame.I hope he’s doing ok these days..His voice is still amazing and powerful.Seen them twice back in 2002 & 2003.Unreal performances.
I saw them at Crocodile Rock Cafe in Allentown, PA in ‘05 or ‘06 with Bloodsimple and Static-X. They put on such a great show I had to know more about them. Hope he’s doing well.
So true.He sounds amazing even though he doesnt care and looks ill.Just two years before he appears healthy and happy but mentalhealth tkes no prisoners.I feel for him.Always have.
Its pretty depressing when your bass player and guitarist dies. One of my favorite bands of all times and most of you don't even know who they are and who they lost. Its amazing Cameron can even get up there with all the loss he has had to deal with. If you guys ever need a bass player who would help keep Chad's memory alive I would be honored. I have been heavily influenced by you guys and I am about the same age and been through a lot of the same adversity. I know you guys probably have a lot of people asking you for this position but I believe I would fit in perfectly. If not I wish you all the best and will be pulling for you guys, your all amazing and never stop the machine
I'm from Vienna and was there. It was like a fucking funeral. Drummer Jeremiah from (Hed) PE was with them and fortunately were hanging out with him after the show, cheered us up a bit. My brother and nephew are huge fans too and we saw them before in 2014, opening for Soil together with (Hed) PE. Though not on their peak anymore they fucking killed it! Most underrated band EVER, Cameron was an absolutely amazing singer. Maybe with a bit discipline they could have kept it together. A lot of guys were completely fucked up too, Justin Broadrick, Trent Reznor etc. Even Uncle Al is still alive and touring a lot with his 60 years. Or my beloved Killing Joke, Raven died too, Jaz had depressions and was an alcoholic for years. I'm really still very sad about Head Charge
Cameron is battling with himself and drugs. Haven't got an update in 6 months. He was not well at that point in time. Hope he can dig himself up out of the shallow grave he is in and become happy with himself. The dude literally had the power to save peoples lives, and did through music. Now he needs to do the same to himself.
I'm the one who they are and who they lost but somehow i've got one of their song on my phone in early 00's, and i always thought that this band is very popular. About few years ago i remember this band and i start interesting in vocal and extreme vocal, so i was shocked about how good this singer are and how undeground the band is. Sad when guys like Sykes (bmth) scream their health out and sounds like shit today but still very popular and really talented guys are on the bottom. Or dead, like Cornell and Benington. Sorry for bad english.
yeah, I didn´t even know why chad and justin were missing and I think it was very strange to not even mention their abscene, chad is the co founder of the band, if I remember right. saw them back in 2002 for the first time and it is incredible how their live show changend since back than. on the positive side, martins voice was great in vienna but his perfomance felt 100% wrecked and ignorant. and it was sad that only about 30 people showed up for this gig, unbelievable.
Same thing that kept them from being bigger than slipknot - too many drugs. We got 3 albums in 20 years… so much missed opportunity. He’s doing OK these days - has a clothing line with the singer of mother local band
not going to downplay the drugs but 9/11 had a huge impact on them. their breakthrough album basically dropped off the face of the earth as far as promo
I can understand the meloncholy mood, but I have to say that was the most nonchalantly baddass vocals I've seen in my life. Lol. He had one hand in his pocket the whole time but his screams and style sounded great. Shows he has great technique. Anyways it is a sad state this band has become. Out of the 5 shows in my life they were supposed to be at they were only there for 2 of them.. Either way I will always love and cherish the music they made.
@@Dadashhhh I know this band personally. I was a promoter for them early career. Martin was off the drugs in their 90's and early 2000's era. At the time of this performance I can't say the same about him. And his depression has been a huge demon for him. I haven't been in contact since their second album but I still know what has gone on since then. Martin has gone off the radar in the past years and I am worried he won't come back as himself.
Watching this again in 2024.Still haunts me how unwell Cam looks. His voice though is still amazing.Last thing i saw of Cam was when he apparently stole guitars. From then on he has vanished from social media and the internet.Maybe/probably thats what he wants?
….😢 almost like watching Layne Staley last performance with AIC … another great voice and soul destroyed by addiction and rock&roll life style Seems like a lot of those talented people can not manage it in a long run… it must be really hard ! keep holding on Cameron , hope you ok 😔
I saw em live with Bloodsimple and Mudvayne back in 04-05 they Killed it.They all killed but their guitar player with the rolled up long sleeve kept that show exciting he still kinda does
Was just thinking about a song by them lol I am a die hard American Head Charge fan! Anyone who loves this band is a friend of mine lmao! \m/ #keepmetalalive
I've seen them three times. Last time was when they toured on the Coal Chamber reunion tour. Cam looked healthy, had energy on stage, interacted with the crowd, looked enthused to be on the stage. This is HORRIBLE
Half the band was missing at the time. Chad was sick and dying in hospital. I believe they only did these gigs to fulfil the contractual obligation. I think he did amazingly well considering. I’d have been less into it.

i've seen these guys in 2001. nothing like this... they were all over the place! it was crazy! this looks like a cover band...
It's really impressive how well he is doing considering he don't give a single fuck.
Exactly my thoughts 😂 How can someone gives such less fucks 😅

Chad was terminally ill during this concert and died shortly thereafter. Probably explains the lack of energy.
yes, most probably. very very sad!
omg what happened to Cameron Heacock...? I think he's one of the most talented metal singers around :-(

Zach B drugs and mr hanks's failing health
Never seen a singer so dead in a metal performance
Sadly it's the drugs and depression dude.

When you dump all your skill points into vocals and forget to put any into stage presence...

Hey at least he actually sang it all . I hope dude can sort himself out . I love war of art so much .

Guys lost 2 friends and band members. Think about that. This gig is bills. Nothing more. Just blockage. Just hobbie. Just getting through shit.
He looks like he'd rather be somewhere else. Shame, this is a banger of a song.
Who are these people ?
Looks like Cameron is really enjoying himself. Not
