Nice! Did you use any specific kinds of trees as a model?

Kind of. I initially set out to do a more somber scene with more earthy tones but then I started playing with the colors and shapes and totally lost the plot. But I love it. I dont know the names of the types of trees but there are trees at a park I hang out at that I was thinking of while I was painting. That and there is a bridge we drove over one fall that looked out over a shallow forested valley and all you could see was this vibrant lumpy carpet of trees in every shade of yellow orange and red and it was beautiful.
