I think you can use a multimeter, at least to check if it gets power or if the pathways work, but idk much about how to work those things. I ended up making a makeshift testing kit. Basically installing a chassis with a soundboard and a bunch of wires sticking out that I connect to the parts I want to test. That works okay for me
wow crazy coincidental timing. i just ordered this kit form KR and I've been working on my configs. Would you be willing to share with me how you set up the control box pixels?
Hahaha that’s perfect! Unfortunately my build video won’t come out for a long time (considering all the backlog of videos I have to get done before it). But I can definitely help! I set up the pixels independently from each other, so they each have their own sets of wires going to their own places on the board. If you use the proffie v3 diagram generator, just add 2 pixel accents or crystal accents and it’ll show you where to put them. Basically the datas are on 2 and 3, negatives are on led pads 4 and 5. And I set up accent sequences using fett263 accent maker thing, found the rotj red and green arrow sequences in the “off” section or something like that. And in the config the pixels are set up as blades 2 and 3
It’s a hilt made by Denis Lukyanov, in collaboration with KRsabers and Wannawanga. You can find one in a few places, but the two I know of are thesaberarmory and saberbay
I tried once a long time ago, it didn’t work out great cuz I couldn’t get in contact with the winner and there ended up being a ton of scammers trying to pretend to be me. So I probably won’t be doing any giveaways anytime soon if at all
I'm extremely interested in a commission for this exact setup and have sent you a message on Instagram. Just looking to get the ball rolling and learn what exactly I would need to do to have one of these made for me!
An amazing review as always
Great job as always, dude. You never fail to impress.
Nice work. I just ordered a Creepy Uncle a few days ago. My first purchase from KR.
You won’t regret it! Find yourself an installer to bring that thing to life! Or maybe you can do it yourself 👍
@@averycastillo I'm planning on doing it myself. What kind of a Jedi would I be if I didn't?
Cool set up
The card side with more rails is the correct one for that prop, FYI
Good to know! I know the thicker side with fewer rails was used for the V3, and the thinner rails for Hero, just wasn’t sure about TLJ!
@@averycastillo Yep! The Lightsaber Prop Guide is your friend!

Hi bro I think I have a problem with my Proffieboard v3 I have solder all of the wire but when I put it on my pc the little led isn’t green is it ok?
Hi Avery. Do you have a way of testing the neo pixels prior or during the build ( to ensure they work ) ?
In general
Regards
