The middle -class is already paying 64% taxes, @ 33% income tax, 18% GST, and road tax, house tax, land tax, NH tolls, petrol tax, electricity tax which works out to 64%. Nirmala Sitaraman will make it a law in the next budget if you make these suggestions during the pre-budget period.
Please analyze the surplus income, of the middle class, senior citizens, and pensioners who form 90% of the taxpayers. The salaried- class is the only group that pays TDS - taxes correctly.
The middle class is burdened with 64% taxes. Please deduct their EMI for Education loan, home and car loans and insurance premium and expenses for looking after their parents. In the absence of any social security system, should they save some money for post-retirement life. 90% of the income taxpayers are earning less than Rs 8 lakhs per annum. After, providing for the above-said expenses, their monthly income is a meager Rs 25,000/- Can they adopt a family?
Why can't Pais, Ambanis, and Adanis adopt more than 1 family? Please make a practical suggestion.

Exactly. This guy's position is completely contradictory and changes from time to time. One day, he says govt should not give freebie or any programs that puts money in people's hand through programs like free bus which is used by bottom 50%. The next day he says bottom 50% should get money monthly. One day he says tax payers are angry govt should cut taxes, the other day he says tax payers should contribute money to people apart from paying tax. In essence he just says whatever will make him popular at that time.
But private firms are hoarding money as reserve money and not investing in plant facilities nor in becoming the global leader
If tax payers are helping towards poor people in terms of adopting or donating with some amount, government should give tax exemption for that amount so that many people may come forward and adopt this concept.

To go deeper.. for most part of evolution till date, the economy is very local, you and your neighbour are competing for a limited resources in the local reach, so there is completion with the person next to you (most are still stuck in this mentality).. however in the current globalised economy, if you collaborate with the people in your reach, you can advance better and compete globally..

@@Naa-e1t Drinking liquor has got nothing to do with development. Gujarat might have a vibrant economy but, Maharashtra contributes the most to the nation's GDP and tax pool. So no, I wouldn't support a govt riding to power on the promise of a liquor ban because these prohibitions don't work anywhere and many times, these people who ride to power on this ban end up running the shadow market where they sell liquor in black and loot the exchequer of valuable tax resources.
Speaking of China and Singapore, they didn't become the economic giants in Asia through jingoism. China investment heavily in industries and scientific research. Singapore utilised its geographic advantage to attract FDI in its shipping and financial industry. Both of these countries spent a huge amount on developing quality human resources in their home.
India is spending a lot to attract industries to set up shop and manufacture goods. But if you notice carefully, most of these foreign players are only setting up assembly plants in India. Hardly any quality R&D is done here. The govt itself isn't interested in boosting R&D in the country. It talks about it but it doesn't spend on it. You might want to quip back with,"Oh but Congress govt didn't do it either" or "Under BJP the percentage of contribution has gone up X% compared to 2013-14". But remember all of that means nothing of your scientific research is being laughed at by your international peers. So keep waiting for 15-20 years, nothing will change because all the quality minds are leaving the country for better opportunities and the present Indian Govt is actually trying to diminish or finish all together all intellectual discourse and debate.

So I hv discussed this in many forums n many turned. Fortunate Vajpayee led this change. During upa 1&2 again freebies started. Fortunate Modi started leading now. Just listen one item of congress. If comes to power , will do kata kat Rs. one lac per poor family, but never clarified average how many will get this kata kat. One end congress claims that 80 cr poor in Bharat. Avg family count is say 4. Total eligible count is 20 cr per annum. At this rate the expense to govt wud be Rs 20 crores of lacs. Can u guess how is this amt? Already the deficit down to 5.2% from 8.6% that was created by Manmohan Singh. Is it possible to give this freebie for our total revenue? So if elected, congress wud hv turned down to say poor is only 2 lacs. So Rs. 2 lacs cr is easy which I agree. It is simply fooling us. U n I start the abolition of alcohol , sure in next 20 yrs, u will see 50 cut. I am continuing my dream.

50℅ of Bihar's population is very poor. It took 75 years to reach this appreciable level. In another 75 years we can hope it will attain 100℅. When we talk about the largest Democracy in the world, we conveniently pretend or avoid to frankly say "How many Billions our Family Owned Political Parties and their Netas made. All that is being said is possible voluntarily only if corruption stops and if citizens have a decent life. The biggest issue with paying taxes is that tax paying citizens feel that they are not getting any value in return.
Government freebies have bred idlers. Now, citizens have to breed idlers. Obvious option to lift people from poverty is not to extend charity, but develop the economy so that the people in the lower strata earn more income. Anything received freely without effort will have no value in the hands of the recipient. It will be squandered.

Idea of adoption of a poor family is good. Only thing is who will give a guarantee that they do not misuse that money on drinking or smoking or any other vices?
Who will guarantee in writing that our efforts will not go waste and if the family violates rules / commit crimes / misused our money or help than what compensation will we get?

Govt should plan private employees and small business people medical facility and other benefits depending on the Tax paid by them to govt.
Out of 145 crore population , only 2 crore people pay Income tax. Then how it will work....? Also tax payer's above a limit can only afford such expenses. It is a joke that , In India only 2 crore people are paying Income tax. ..So the govt. should exactly locate how many people are liable to pay Income tax. A country wide survey should be done on factual basis. Also , the govt. should find out how many crores of population who infiltrated in the country and settled in each state and are they accounted under our poverty line population. ...? India needs a zero based economic research and remedy and the present Tax system should be completely re-written considering the the basic fixation of a family standard purchasing power in monetary terms. Then only the govt. should look for the country's ecnomic growth needed funds for future developments and Investments.

In 1973 the Gold rate was around ₹300 +- for 10 grams and salary was ₹270 for bank clerk and during 1980 gold was ₹1360. Today the 10 gram gold cost ₹60k +- and salary of bank clerk ₹30k just half of ₹60k. It means half the real tangible goods we get.

Again u r trying to do dirty politics. Even God can not save us. Next, I don’t understand y including this much hand as is hitting the rich celebration their family functions? Two things to consider: 1. Even Mugesh Ambani did charity to many poor silently n he is doing his bit. Y r u jealous by saying he has to do it as if he is not not doing charity. 2. Even he spends huge money for his n his son happiness, he gives huge opportunities to many families to do business to earn by the bottom of the pyramid which is good for the nation while keeping his son who is suffering health issues. End of day, each parent wants their kids live happily. So mugesh trying to make his sick son happy is undoubtedly appreciate able. Let’s not point fingers at others if we don’t know what others r doing. Last, the sudden surge in expenses of a farmer is in the form of medical only, nothing else. If govt hospitals r welequiped like private with really honest doctors, then take it granted our farmers life will change soon. Knowingly or unknowingly Modiji brought in NEET in medical. The past by paying huge money by rich without marks to get medical seats gone now. So money making machinery of the medical is slowly dying. Honest merit based medical students will slowly change the culture of service from corruption to high quality service by the new set of doctors n related service personnel.

Had great opinion on Pai, gone with this freebies policy looks like he is sold to Rahul takatak idea of 8500/- pm to all women. You don’t empower you degenerate them to laziness with this. How can you compare apples to oranges. A farmer to SWE in Bangalore! What farmers need is none of the doles like free power, subsidised fertiliser, etc. give him high yielding seeds which are disease resistant, almost organic, better irrigation facilities, storage finally let him dictate the price of produce by banning all dalaris. Example has been successfully established in MP by ITC echowpal. Don’t educate them to leave their traditional healthy sorrounding for lousy Bangalore type weather and life just for few bucks. Why is rbi so concerned with rising food prices more than diesel and petrol! Cant you pay more for farm produce mainly small and marginal farmers. The future is assured ONLY if the competitive freebies by political parties is curbed. ONLY the courts can put a stop to this. No political party has the guts to stop it. The same holds true for Reservation. Courts have to make it clear, whatever reservation is given to whatever castes or religions, it has to be within 50%. Dear Gentlemen my view on inflation people should learn on how to spend and what to spend, don't simply spend for glories, proud and fame this is what actually happening now on unnecessary things, What actually people need shelter, food and clothing, yeas we need good reasonable house with proper facilities, good food, and proper cloths not for extravaganza attitudes in selecting and spending, all these extravaganza expenditures ending up of wasting the resources and time. Inflation that takes place because of peoples greediness showing up to others I have this and that. I truly feel there should be some concern of high price in food items due to nature failures production less but demand high but this is not permanent it should be controlled.
