Watch the Australian version (Sydney last night) and check out both Jon Stevens as Judas and John Farnham. I’m an Aussie who saw that one live and have watched it and all the others online. That duo can’t be beat.
Outstanding acting! I liked it even more than singing and the voice itself. I've always thought that female Judas has to be someone with deep, rich, almost operatic contralto. But this is the magic of the really good performance - even relatively high voice (high for my preferences, of course) sounds as if the part was originally written for a mezzo.)) Thank you for this beautiful rendition!
It was obviously scored for a male vocal range, but this is a good adaptation, and a great performance. That said, Carl Anderson is the one true Judas.
This is so good! I think Carl Anderson was a little more raw, maybe because he felt the words a little harder on his shoulders. Some songs get personal to the people singing them, I hope you've uploaded Damned for All Time too!

Watching the film, Carl carried the pain, anguish, hope on his face. You can see how torn he is in every scene.
