any resistance on the essentric phase?

Great question! Yes. With pneumatic resistance, you have full resistance through both the concentric and eccentric phases of the movement. This eliminates the momentum you encounter when lifting on a weight stack machine or other forms of iron-based resistance. You can lift as fast as you are able and, with the push of a button, do eccentric loading.
Please let us know if we can answer any additional questions!

@@KeiserFitness how does your functional trainer compare to freemotions functional trainer? the free motion machine has two 275 lbs stacks for each arm that equates to 75 lbs of resistance per arm due to the pulley system, what is the max weight on the keiser machine?

      Thanks for your question!
The Keiser Functional Trainer offers 60 pounds of resistance per arm. That involves full resistance through the entire concentric and eccentric phases.
With a weight stack, depending on the speed of the lift, momentum can come into play. On Keiser, you eliminate momentum with pneumatic resistance.
