- This video shows the steps to making the bead angels that I have been making since I was a little girl. My grandmother, Wilma Morrow, taught my mother, Alleen Oberste, and me and my sisters how to make them and now I am sharing the technique with the rest of our large family and anyone else who would like to learn how to make these simple, colorful Christmas ornaments!
Safety pins - craft 1.5 inch Size 2 38mm
Sunburst beads
Rondelle beads
10mm wood beads for heads
Seed beads - gold, silver, crystal (3.2mm)
Craft wire
Wire cutter/nipper
So glad I found your angel. I have seen a few but seemed more complicated and you were very thorough explaining. I think I have most of what I need to make other than safety pins but will try my hand at this. thanks for sharing. If I get it made I want to teach my grands and greats how to make.
What a beautiful tribute to your Grandmother & mother.
Thank you for Sharing
I realize it's been several years since you made this video but I just have to say, what a wonderful way to honor your mother. I can't believe you were able to do so shortly after her passing. You must be a very strong woman. I can't help but think about how everyone having made one of these angels now has one inspired by the memory of your mother to forever honor her. Thanks so much for sharing this project and your story.
Beautiful, thank you for sharing !
Awesome job 💞
Hi I just found you on you tube and wanted to thank you for showing me how to make these beautiful angled. Your story about your grandma and mom inspired me to do this with my granddaughters who I have over every Sunday for brunch and arts and crafts. Thank You!

Hello. I dont understand the sizes of beads u use. Can u please what sizes next to each beads that use and what size safety pin. It is confusing bc u dont say the exact size to each thing u use. So next to the pin say 2mm next to the rondell 8mm and so on please. Thank you
