In celebration of KINGDOM HEARTS and the stunning melodies of Yoko Shimomura, Utada Hikaru, Takeharu Ishimoto, and Tsuyoshi Sekito, we present Project Destati’s second volume.
DARKNESS is the highly-anticipated follow-up album to Project Destati’s 2014 Billboard-charting soundtrack album “LIGHT.” The album is a musical amalgamation of fan-favorite themes from the KINGDOM HEARTS series, re-assembled in an all-new fashion like long-forgotten memories.
Featuring a live string orchestra and industry-leading soloists, DARKNESS is a dark, grand, and mysterious musical experience that aims to capture Tetsuya Nomura’s own imagination.

You guys are putting so much effort into all of these tracks! Just like Mulan’s world theme, it’s obvious that you guys went out of your way to learn about the music from the country that inspired Agrabah. That’s real dedication!

The oriental style is perfect here! Sounds even more Arabian than the original ones, I love it! Wish it was longer! 😁
Well It's not easy to make Oriental music with the PS2's soundfront.
Léo Sora they no longer had an excuse in the remakes though. Those had an orchestra too, but heavily favoured certain instruments anyway.

Making Agrabah sound so epic.... I was just blown away at the 0:08 second mark, that was so flipping awesome!

THIS MAKES ME WANT AGRABAH IN KH3
I kinda wish there was more returning Disney worlds in KH3. Glad Olympus and the Caribbean (with massive overhauls too) did, but I kinda wanted Agrabah (would had great platforming and the music is divine anyway) and maybe one of the worlds from DDD (either Prankster's Paradise or La Cite des Cloches). Still, the worlds we did get (barring TT and 100 Acre for obvious reasons) were fantastically done, and for the most part felt fulfilling.
Still really want Agrabah to come back tho....
