Could you possibly make a video of a scenario using IAM roles for authentication to an RDS instance? I'm curious about how to manage not only role permissions but also defining a scope (set of tables) that a role would have access to.
Ashish was a bit excited about making this video so he might be too fast for some people watching. He says he will try and not be as excited for the next video.
Thank you for a great video. I have trouble connecting my database like you did. Can it be because when it was created I set it connected with EC2? Because when i connect EC2 through SSH everything works fine but the connection to the db from my laptop without connecting EC2 is always time out
Thanks for the Content. Have a query. Can we use GitGuardian to scan our repo to check if any password was wrongly exposed? Or do you recommend any better options

Thanks Ashish, I think much easier to create a DB using CLI than using console, as Andrew brown showed us in week 4 !
Hi Good Video!
Can you suggest how can we schedule a job in rds postgres?

Awesome very informative video. Can you please make video related to ssl certificate encryption for Amazon RDS(postgresql).
I normally watch live feed (recorded) in 1.25x :) but had to watch Ashish on 1.0.

GitGuardian, Trufflesec there are many other versions. Github itself has this available for Enterprise customers. It is a good practice for sure.
It will be nice if you show us how to connect to RDS using the windows
Thank you for commenting. This has been added as a future video item
Bro but in the end this was nothing secure….
What database UI are using?
DBeaver - there are others too which you can find here - postgresapp.com/documentation/gui-tools.html
