i lubed, filmed outemu blues, i'm using them on a cheap hotswap keyboard from a nearby gaming store and i also did standard keyboard mods, (pe foam, tempest tape mod, and some paper on the case) they sound amazing and feel semi-linear
That's nice, have you consider doigg 2-way foam mod? It's to put a really thin sheet of pe foam mod between the switch and the pcb which act as a switch pad. Sound difference is pretty noticeable and it's more thocky and poppy!
Depends on your budget, ZealPC Clickez and Novelkeys Cream clickie are probably the best feeling and sound but they're pretty pricey. If you wanna go for budget, go for Kailh Box white v2 or box summer clicky switch!
Hello bro thanks for your really useful video, I have cherry MX blue switches. Should I lube springs of them? I love the clicky sound but I want something new and the typing feels smoother.
If you have the money, I'd upgrade it to box white v2, its a huge difference. But if not, you can lube the springs, pretty sure the sound isnt no where as annoying anymore after spring lubing. But make sure to lube only a few of your switches first and try them out so you won't waste your time lubing all of it only to find you don't like it in the end ^^'
Ngl, any difference in the kailh box whites didnt come through the comparison at all as far as I can tell. I've never been able to hear any difference in them so I think I'm just going to lube the springs and my stabs and leave it at that.
Yea, I don't really lube any of my clicky switches either besides their springs and only if it has noticeable spring ping. Apart from that, there's no point for me to lube them since they're pretty smooth already for a stock switch and they don't have that binding issues like some of my DWS switches.
Yea, this is for ppl who wanted slightly quieter clickies. I personally only do spring lube if the ping is pretty noticable but most cases, you won't be able to noticed it except for some cheap click jacket switches out there.
thank you so much for this video!!! the rattle in my outemu blues was driving me insane and this fixed the issue!!

@@ElasticoOFCL yeah that's what i meant to put. it works very well. I instead did like 6 layers of paper in the case.
@@dgomez6778 oh dang okay then, am assuming that it makes it sound really poppy huh?
@@ElasticoOFCL not really, makes it sound deeper
@@dgomez6778 Ahh okay then, that's interesting

I really loved the sound of outemu blues on 16:29. Are they filmed as well?
You can filmed outemu blues yep! ^^
What lube are you using? :) Nice video btw!
I just use some cheap silicon-based lube I found in Lazada ^^;
Does it have to be krytox?
You can use any kind of lube really but I suggest use ones that are made for linear switches thou like Tribosys 3203 or 204G0
