Deku and Ochaco are mostly likely canon already
When you think about it nothing’s changed. Even if people would keep shipping Deku and Uraraka with other characters besides each other and they personally reject our ship, Horikoshi will still stick with his original plan for his story and will remain the same and he will not leave it from someone else. That’s not Kohei Horikoshi. He’s not shaken by whether or not everybody’s opinion and criticism from his story of My Hero Academia especially from his ships.
