She would not be roaming around if they told her she had blood clots in her lung. I wasn’t even allowed to stand up to pee when I had PEs. I thought I pulled a muscle in my shoulder trying to get around a few months after my spinal fusion, but went to the ER at my doctor’s insistence and within an hour was in a glass room right in front of the ICU nurses station (after I snuck out to use the bathroom because I was tired of using a bedpan and peeing all over myself they locked the door). I spent 5 damn days stuck in that room with no TV, not allowed to eat in case the clot moved to my brain or heart and I had to go to surgery. The pain of breathing with those clots sucked.

I dated an EMT, he and I had similar education (except I went a little longer than he did, my remaining years were focused on the admin side of healthcare) and I was upset to start at "only" $26/hr, I felt like after all that schooling, I should be earning more since I had a fuck ton of student loans to pay off. Then he informed me he was only paid $13/hr.. $13 a fucking hour, for being out in the heat all day, giving belligerent people IVs and dealing with insanity constantly. It's a fucking crime how little they are paid, especially when you see how much the ambulance companies charge people for their services.

Lera it’s really funny you say that because if she did have any kind of DVT or blood clot emboli in her lungs she would NOT be breathing. I just saw an obesity show in the UK where a guy was in a car crash & he was so obese he was jammed up against the wheel-the fire brigade spent about 2 hours having to take the car to pieces-roof included just so they could get him out. A lot of people do eat fast food often. The difference is they’re ordering normal portion sizes and the rest of their day is balanced with normal meals and some exercise. Flobby Bobby hasn’t made that connection yet.
Most healthy people don’t eat out five days a week. They cook their meals and prep.

jayzz not sure we are comparing Chantal vs fitness and health gurus. People are able to maintain a normal BMI and still eat out all the time. I know so many examples of this. No, they aren’t perfectly in shape and they’re probably not at peak health, but they also aren’t obese. Eating out, even daily, is doable while maintaining a healthy weight. The problem is calories in vs calories out. When it comes to fat loss/gain/maintenance, your body gives zero fucks about where those calories comes from. You can gain weight on a perfectly balanced diet if you over eat, and you can lose on an all Taco Bell diet if you stay within a calorie limit.
Chill B I agree with you that you can eat out that often and maintain or lose weight. In my life experience though people don’t go to McDonald’s and Arby’s and taco bell that often. Maybe once a week. I’m also from a smaller town though. Regardless, she still thinks that her amount of food and calories is normal, wherever the food came from.
