- I bought a GoPro Chin mount from www.chinmounts.com and let me tell you what CRAPPY customer service!!!! Do not waist your money! Amazon has a way better selection for half the cost! An have way better customer service, no questions asked!
Thanks for the review. I’m interested in getting one. From what I’ve heard … chin mount scrubs all of their negative reviews from their website, so any review you see is always positive. You are the first person that has given an honest review about the sticky tape, which seems to be an issue. Most people purchase their own sticky tape from Home Depot or Lowe’s which seems to work better than the sticky tape that comes with the chin mount.
Same thing happen to my old mount. It fell off from the heat and vibration of riding. That's when I switched to motoradds haven't had an issue since it's been attached. Tho I did add anything 3m tape in the middle for more stability

I was thinking to buy for both my schubert c5 and scorpion exo 1400 helmets but i wont buy after watching this video.
not sure what tape they used, but buy some of the 3M double sided and cut it to fit. Never had problems with 3M

ChinMounts are 3D printed junk. I was floored when it arrived and found out it was 3D printed.

All Chin mounts are 3d printed. Doesnt matter wherefrom u buy it. Maybe they did not attach the 3M correct on the mount. Or maybe the customer heat it to much up.
The mount itsself is same sheap 3D printed overpriced plastic from as from other brands. Just remove the 3M and use Tesa Sugru.
Imagine loosing it while riding! Good thing you have a mic cable.

Get a 2 sided adhesive and cut it to size and heat the adhesive and apply it thats what I would do

Damn! How long did you let it sit before using it? I’ve had a chin mount on my corsa for more than a year with no issues (so far). Customer service definitely speaks volumes about a company though- do another review with your next mount! 🙌🏽
I used it a few times. But just fell off out of no where. I think it was the tape. Not so much the mount.

Letting it sit isn’t the issue though since the side of the adhesive that fell off has been setting since leaving factory

I had the same experience with this chinmount, it fell off not only because of bad tape but it didnt even fit my helmet, chinmount sell garbage products.
