I love how different the character of grace is from lex in black friday. Grace on the outside is a goodie two shoes type of girl, a christian who doesn’t cuss, but is actually insane on the inside. Lex is a “bad girl” a bad influence, who smokes and is highschool dropout, but in reality she’s actually a sweet and caring sister who just wants a better life for herself and her loved ones, away from her absent mom. The versatility of Angela.
Her asking Detective Shapiro if she was a woman of faith and then just assuming she wasn't because she's Catholic is the most fundie Protestant joke I've heard in ages. I can also appreciate that she subverts the "repressed girl calming down after having sex for the first time" trope and essentially swears to kill all the "dirty dudes" at the end. She's fucking insane and I love her.
Grace has so many funny moments in this her saying "so you do know the bible", her singing about how their going to dispose of Jagermans body and the iconic "Jesus could never through a football like you max" are some highlights for me
I'm glad to see Grace Chasity in this after she was mentioned in tgwdlm. I'm also glad Angela is in this one after Black Friday. She did amazing in this musical.
I know they are alternate time lines but Grace went to Clivesdale in TGWDLM and Grace's parents seem like the type that would send her to Sycamore if they lived in Hatchetfield. Bill and Grace went to the same church which means one of them was travelling out of town just for church.
This role was MADE for Angela. This is def my fav character shes played so far. Her facial expressions and tone and just everything is too perfect and hilarious
Angela's voice makes me so happy I'm autistic and I really like voices like hers there really fun to hear and listen to so her playing grace made me happy

Another fun Grace moment is In the opening song, you can see that Grace puts her hand over her mouth during the chorus “I’m so Fucking Dead” so you can’t see her swear. All the other characters put their hands on the other side of the mouth so you can see them whisper-singing the chorus

He wanted to cuddle after he 'stirred the dirty girl soup' after all, plus he defended her from his 'friends' even when doing so didn't make it easier to win her over. It's still real posessive and toxic, but I think there was some affection there (also unless I'm wrong, I don't think he ever actually threatened Grace despite the whole 'nerdy prudes must die' thing) On the other hand, Grace showed no intrest in Max outside of sex. She shows fewer signs of actual romantic attraction than Max does, ironically.
I just watched a cards against humanity slosh games episode and clicked on this and it’s so funny to me how different Angela acts from the character she’s playing. It’s hilarious 😂

Angela went so far off the rails because she was convinced Jesus made some extra slay rails for her to land on that no one else could see and we look down and see her with a snapped neck snapping her fingers to the beat of the cool cool beans on those very rails I don’t really know what that all means but all my Starkid homies get me out there

Also i really wish we got more of Ziggy and at least a cameo from John McNamara it doesn't feel like HatchetFeild musical without him. Although the Lords of the Black were top teir!!
After defeating Max's ghost with sex, Grace started using a spell from the Black Book to kill and absorb the souls of those *she* finds unworthy, similar to Max did. But instead of Max's nerdy prudes, Grace is targeting "pervs". She starts by inviting Jason to the homecoming dance so that she can bait him into doing something "dirty" (the kiss) which lets her cast the spell and steal his soul. He does manage to escape while she's singing, though ("I'm getting outta here!") ((That's my interpretation anyway. It's also possible she got this power directly from Max, not the book, or that she's done it before Jason.))
i HOPE that they start promoting it when smosh starts posting videos that have been filmed more recently (i think they’re currently still posting videos that were filmed weeks/months ago) I REALLY HOPE THIS MUSICAL GETS MORE RECOGNITION!!

In some twisted way, she think she's doing Jesus and her god a favor by working with the LiB and sacrificing sinners to them based on her belief. She's gonna be the next successor to the Waylon Family's legacy even though she's not really a direct descendant.
