Wayne, keep up the great content. Im looking forward to seeing more of you in the New Year. Fingers crossed for some decent weather next year. Ive got a new toy comming in the spring which might make a nice video come summer. Blue skies and smooth landings. Neil
Mate, I can’t help getting the feeling that you’re not 100% sure if you like flying now. From your earlier videos your enthusiasm and excitement was off the scale! I canMt see myself ever feeling like that, i can’t get enough. I hear what you say about the Wx, i’m having to go away for a week in Europe to catch up on my hour building!
My honest answer is yes I think you are right. And I think it’s because I let things slide and now I have to work to get back to my peak. They say flying is a perishable skill and it is. The good news is I’ve had a good look at myself and my motivation and I’ve re kindled my enthusiasm. I let things get on top of me for a while and not flying was the easy way out. I became lazy. The good news is I think I’m over the hump. I’m m now more involved with KK have more content to play with and have some time to go flying.
@ you’re doing the right thing by thinking about doing more flying as PIC with no other pilot onboard. If you keep flying with Jack regularly, having him do the RT etc you’ll never come out the other side. You need to load yourself up with the entire flying task and that can be uncomfortable when multi tasking. You just need to throw yourself at it and feel the stretch Wayne!
That's the plan. there will be more flying with Jack as it is entertaining, but also flying without, and without cameras too. The problem then is people think I only fly with Jack based on what they see on the channel, so it always looks skewed.
Anyone who is negative towards you probably just pathetic sim pilots, it's a long journey for anyone. I'm an instructor of many years and never stop learning.
You hit the nail on the head - confidence! All the best for 2025 let’s hope the weather plays ball!
