When there is time travel there are only two stable solutions: either one side wins so thoroughly that the other has no chance to go back and change history or both sides are happy and doesn't want to change it. I think they should have made a number of sequels where humans and machines took turns being the bad guys until a final, happier movie where they reach a compromise.

I wouldn't say it was my favorite but I did really enjoy it. Robert Carlyle really stole the show in that one. Nobody else could keep up with his phenomenal acting.
I had a real problem with Prey. The original Predator movie pitted a Predator against a special forces unit and all were killed save one, and he was nearly completely trashed. So I'm supposed to believe that a small Native American woman can survive against a Predator. It required too much suspension of belief for me to even bother watching it.

As for Stargate, to reboot the franchise is a stupid idea and just laziness...what they need is a new series heavily based on SG1 and SGA, forget about SGU which sucked. Even StarGate was getting tired by the time Jack O'Neill left, and General Hammond for that matter. But it was a rushed finale for Atlantis....the fact they arrived on Earth for all to see - would not make it a secret anymore. A Stargate series where the general population could travel to other worlds would have been interesting. (a couple of eps did focus on that in SG-1 but I think it portrayed far-future or alternative timelines).
I'm excited to see Star Trek 4, Edge of Tomorrow 2, and Badlands. I'm also looking forward to the Jurassic City film. The first Jurassic Park and World movies were great - the sequels in each franchise were just ok.
A complete reboot of Stargate will destroy the franchise. A continuation of the original will most assuredly work as it will bring back old fans of the series and excite new ones. They can start it off with one of their alien allies informing stargate command that they have located the Destiny from Stargate Universe and work from there.
I'm on board for most of these but we really need a solid Highlander reboot Such a deep well of storytelling to draw from if they can find a great lead...
It might be okay, but since Discovery got worse, accelerating its idiocy every new season (and the last couple of seasons for every episode!), my hopes aren't up at all.

no worse than a 70 year old Arnie trying to portray a cyborg that's not supposed to age - but actually that's not true. Terminator was living tissue over endoskeleton, and as Sarah Connor said, if he can't pass for human he's no good to her and John. It's Brent Spiner I think whose time is up as Data - the android that shouldn't age as humans do, but you can't help that when the actor (still brilliantly) portraying him ages. OTOH if they make more Trek and go with CGI Data, I'd rather have Data ageing and a real actor portraying him.

Terminator could certainly correct the problems caused by Dark Fate by simply having someone return from the future and save John Conners. Who actually 'love jurassic park' ?
it is basically just a success because of parents not knowing what to do with their kids on saturdays afternoon...
espacially from someone who worked on Star Wars (the last couple of movies) saying ' i love jurassic park' is like saying 'i love any job i can have right now'...
Lawd help us...
I know this is about sequels but with all these up comming sequels, that is a problem it shows no original ideas are happening in hollywood just sequels sad
Some of these franchises just need to end
And that's why nobody had any idea...
