I say the following not as an insult but, on premise and trope, the story ought to have been cliche, tired and tried. But the author did an amazing job at just telling a very well balanced story with likeable/loveable characters and really managed to get readers (and now watchers) to be invested. She deserves all the accolades the series has been praised for. It's not just what or who your story is about, but most importantly how you present that story and its various elements.

I can definitely see a lot of people not going like this arc due to the fact that it doesn't really have any great fighting sequence. But I don't care, The fact that this arc is the prime setup of one the greatest arcs in the entire series sends me shivers. Truly one of the "calm before the storm" moments. And for any manga readers reading this, you know damn well that they are going to give us one of the biggest cliffhangers in the series, if you know what I mean.

It's been almost 5 years since the anime debuted and now after the the Hashira Training arc, we'll be officially 1 arc away (depending on how they animate the final one) from completing the anime. I remember watching the first episode only a few days after its release like it was just yesterday... I never imagined it would become this big!! Demon Slayer have a talent at playing with my feelings.
