I agree with DME. I think the correct play is to build an audience on UA-cam then eventually down the line create a channel membership for exclusive content. The problem is that promoters want to make money NOW and don't have a long term vision. Building an audience (at your own expense) might take years. iBattle has been around for 10+ years, eventually implemented UA-cam channel membership, and now have their own app for $25 a month!
