Laura, I gotta know. Do you make up your own cake recipes, or do you find recipes and alter them? Because honestly, your vanilla cupcake recipe is the most divine baked thing I have ever put in my mouth, and the cupcakes come out perfect 100% of the time. Im a sucker for vanilla cake, and your recipe is a go to every time. Also your red velvet... and pretty much everything else you ever make.
I think she finds inspiration from her favorite chefs/cookbooks and makes her own version, a practical version. That's why I love this show! Its not like you wouldn't find these recipes anywhere,but she shows you exactly what works practically.
I made this recipe twice and it came out horrible both times but I measure correctly and use the right ingredients. Do you use whole milk? I used 2% maybe that's the problem? Ugh I'm not sure.

I made this cupcake for my dad's birthday today and everyone love it! The cake was so soft and chewy and the jam totally balances the sweetness of the cake
just made these yesterday and they were a big hit... I used lemon instead of orange in the cake batter. Thank you so much for the recipe 😊

I made these earlier today, the orange zest and juice added a special flavor to the cupcakes! I didn't want to make the whip cream so I bought it from the store ready to go.. they were delicious! I think these are better than the ones sold at bakeries! Thank you for the recipe :)
