The Thunder Edition of the Jimny features stylised garnish on the front bumper and skid plate. The bonnet gets special mountain decals, with silver-finished elements at the front. The kit also includes a silver-finished garnish on the front fender.

Suzuki launched the Made-In-India Jimny 5-door in Australia as the Jimny XL. Recently, Maruti Suzuki also introduced the Thunder Edition of the Jimny, priced at Rs 10.74 lakh (ex-showroom).
The 5-door Jimny sits on a longer wheelbase than the standard 3-door model and gets only a silver grille to differentiate it from the standard 3-door model, apart from the obvious stretched body with two extra doors.
Features of Maruti Jimny
Top features in the Jimny include a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, connected car tech, automatic climate control, cruise control, keyless entry, and a multi-info display. Passenger safety is taken care of by six airbags, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors with camera, and electronic stability control.
Maruti Jimny Engine
The India-spec Suzuki Jimny is equipped with a 1.5-litre K15B petrol engine, which has an output of 105PS and 134Nm. A 5-speed manual gearbox and 4-speed automatic transmission are your choice of gearbox options. The Jimny can be driven via all four wheels and comes with a low-range transfer case. In the standard mode, it is driven using the rear wheels only.

The Jimny competes with other off-roaders like the Mahindra Thar and Force Gurkha.

The Maruti Suzuki Jimny is offered in two broad trims: Zeta and Alpha.
When it comes to colour options, the offroader is offered in Sizzling Red, Granite Grey, Nexa Blue, Bluish Black, And Pearl Arctic White. It also gets Kinetic Yellow hue, which is offered only as a dual tone, while the Sizzling Red gets the option of a black roof.

Bhai, the true value of this car is under 10 lakhs on-road. Now, ham ye expect kar sakte hai ki Maruti will not go down this much lekin you can never bet. In conclusion, agar sach me off-Road ka use hai to hi lena under 12 lakh me. Warna used Honda City lelo 4th generation wali aur khush rahoge saalon saal.

Maruti Nexa has actually cheated the early birds by over pricing the initial launch. If Maruti Nexa's Marketing Agenda/ Strategy is trying to convey that the early birds will not get the worm but only the lazy birds will get the worm, its just a plain can of worms and no bird is going to go for this can of rotten worms. 😂😂
Maruti has not learned even from the similar SX-4 blunder from earlier episode and has repeated the same blunder all over again.
A big let down by Maruti Nexa on all early birds who chose this vehicle inspite of the high pricing and who were supposed to be the brand ambassadors for the model but now no longer and all early birds have become anti brand ambassadors for Jimny having let them down badly. 😢😢
Maruti Nexa should refund all the early birds.
