Those look so great! I loved the color you used to paint time. I tried making these on my channel too! I love how they turn out. I totally agree that its hard to believe they are made out of popsicle sticks!
Thanks! Because I didn't put a lot on them, I stuck a couple small nails in the wall which the inside of the shelf rests in. Two at the top on the larger one and just one at the top on the smaller one.
hi how did you stick t owall.what type of method.i mean glue or hooks or picture hangers.what canyou say clearly.and it lasts longer.does it hold any bit heavy weight please.can we paint any desired color?are these jumbo? how many layers are these?
I used a few small nails in the wall and the shelves basically rest on those nails (the top inside). Yes! You can paint them any colour you like. They hold a fair amount of weight (but don't put too much on them). They are not HUGE.. The single one is about the size of my hand with my fingers widely spread out. Hope this helps!
+Roland Camcena For how to hang these? Hmm depending on the weight of the objects you plan to put inside... you could possibly use double sided sticky foam (I've grabbed this from the dollar store before) The items would have to be very light though! Otherwise I would suggest having them rest on small thumb tack/push pins (they make only small holes) But again, I wouldn't put something too heavy on the shelf. :)
They are hung with small finishing nails. The larger one is resting on two (at the tops of 2 hexagons) the other is resting on one.. again on the inside at the top. Hope that helps!
I used small nails that it rests on.. If you are not allowed to put any holes in the wall.. I would suggest using something similar to what you would find on the back of a 3M hook.. it's like a sticky foam. I've seen it at the dollar store and used it to hang very light items on the wall. It would work for these; however you'd only be able to put very light objects on the shelves. Hope this helps!
It held all my things well. I've even used them to hold picture frames. But I wouldn't suggest putting heavy things on the shelves. If you're worried--put screws in the wall with anchors and that will hold.

Sadly no.. That's a piece I picked up from Ikea a few years ago..
if I want to paint them metallic, what type of paint works best?
I think I would suggest using a metallic spray paint or liquid leaf paint (it will give the best metallic/metal looking finish)!
thanks, I'll try spray paint :)

It was just small finishing nails.

What you use to hang on the wall?
The inside of the top of the shelf is resting on small finishing nails in the wall.
toDIYfor I try to find the nails but I don’t think it will hold?
It held all my things well. I've even used them to hold picture frames. But I wouldn't suggest putting heavy things on the shelves. If you're worried--put screws in the wall with anchors and that will hold.
What length of sticks did you use?
+Amanda M They were just regular popsicle sticks.. so around 6 inches?
