I had breakfast with him in Rhema church when pastor Ray MC Cauley brought these powerful men down and we all went yearly for these conferences. Im talking early 90s. The day Carlton changed his doctrine and said almost what is being preached here everything changed and he is no more. I will believe the word in its context and not out of its context. Forgiven, what grace because Jesus said "it is completed" on the cross. Yet not own works, but we must still we must take up our cross and follow Jesus as disciple Luke 14.27. And not become hypocrite Math24. 48-51. And 1 Cor 6 :9-11. I tried reasoning away or blind-eyeing' some Scriptures so that I could accommodate some sins I was struggling with in my life while being Jesus's disciple. But Holy Spirit was not giving me peace or acceptance towards it and was ever calling me to repentance to return to Jesus with my whole heart and soul. Yet I persisted that my view was justified, but in my deepest part I know the intimate relationship and communion with God grew weaker, while religiosity and flesh was growing, and I experienced the death reaped by sowing to the flesh. Gal 6:9. I thank God for being so patient and loving me always, drawing me back to Himself, His truth setting me free. Because nothing compares to the greatness of Knowing the Lord Jesus. 👑❤️🔥🕊️
You can't continue sinning and expect God to let you into His Kingdom. Yes we will sin but there's a difference between willfully sinning and besetting sins. You need to Repent, surrender your life to God and be Born Again of His Spirit.

Imo, a mixture of truth with error and not always keeping the subject in context. Over-emphasizing one part, thereby making things out of balance. Does he preach some truth ? Absolutely. Concerning 1 John 1:9. John repeatedly addressed Christians, not lumping them together with agnostics. Jesus died for the sins of the whole world (John 2:2) but that doesn't automatically make everyone saved. But salvation is available to those who believe. Another thing is that 'repentance' is part of the package, whether you put that word in front of, or after the word 'believe'. Jesus Himself said in Mark 1:15; 'repent and believe the Gospel '. People need to stop acting so scared of the word 'works'. The confusion lies with those who don't distinguish between dead works and living works. Believing to salvation involves faith, "for without faith it is impossible to please Him." And "faith without works is dead." But it's true, we should not think that the good works will by themselves earn us salvation. It is 'by grace that we are saved THROUGH FAITH '. And since 'faith without works is dead', (see the book of James), works should be a result of our faith... as evidence that our faith is real. (And I'd like to add; works that are mentioned in Scripture and/or biblically based. Not works done on a stage to impress an audience that have no basis in Scripture. So if you read this, Mr Preez, please don't think that I'm condemning you. There is so much that I don't know about you. Thank you for your willingness to preach. But please don't listen to doctrines of men. May we all identify with Jesus Christ in every part of our lives...Amen

Why would you still WANT to sin...if you came to Christ for salvation...we CANNOT save ourselves, but IF you sinned u can ask forgiveness and are forgiven...like a father who forgives his child. That child cannot loose his sonship through sin.
We thank God for grace. However, there is something slight you may have missed, if you are truly saved you wont sin however you want, because you should have conviction within you. He made an example of being drunk (which was an example in place for any sin) and that there should be conviction in you. He went on to say, if fail to have that conviction after sinning then it means you were never saved to begin with. So no, he's not saying we should sin however we want.

Forgiven, what grace because Jesus said "it is completed" on the cross.
Yet not own works, but we must still we must take up our cross and follow Jesus as disciple Luke 14.27. And not become hypocrite Math24. 48-51. And 1 Cor 6 :9-11. I tried reasoning away or blind-eyeing' some Scriptures so that I could accommodate some sins I was struggling with in my life while being Jesus's disciple. But Holy Spirit was not giving me peace or acceptance towards it and was ever calling me to repentance to return to Jesus with my whole heart and soul. Yet I persisted that my view was justified, but in my deepest part I know the intimate relationship and communion with God grew weaker, while religiosity and flesh was growing, and I experienced the death reaped by sowing to the flesh. Gal 6:9.
I thank God for being so patient and loving me always, drawing me back to Himself, His truth setting me free. Because nothing compares to the greatness of Knowing the Lord Jesus. 👑❤️🔥🕊️

You can't continue sinning and expect God to let you into His Kingdom. Yes we will sin but there's a difference between willfully sinning and besetting sins. You need to Repent, surrender your life to God and be Born Again of His Spirit.

If any one of us, after receiving Holy Spirit and salvation continues in wilful/deliberate sin there comes a time when no sacrifice for sins is available. Once saved always saved is demonic doctrine.

Imo, a mixture of truth with error and not always keeping the subject in context. Over-emphasizing one part, thereby making things out of balance. Does he
preach some truth ? Absolutely. Concerning 1 John 1:9. John repeatedly addressed Christians, not lumping them together with agnostics. Jesus died for the sins of the whole world (John 2:2) but that doesn't automatically make everyone saved. But salvation is available to those who believe. Another thing is that 'repentance' is part of the package, whether you put that word in front of, or after the word 'believe'. Jesus Himself said in Mark 1:15; 'repent and believe the Gospel '. People need to stop acting so scared of the word 'works'. The confusion lies with those who don't distinguish between dead works and living works. Believing to salvation involves faith, "for without faith it is impossible to please Him." And "faith without works is dead." But it's true, we should not think that the good works will by themselves earn us salvation. It is 'by grace that we are saved THROUGH FAITH '. And since 'faith without works is dead', (see the book of James), works should be a result of our faith... as evidence that our faith is real. (And I'd like to add; works that are mentioned in Scripture and/or biblically based. Not works done on a stage to impress an audience that have no basis in Scripture. So if you read this, Mr Preez, please don't think that I'm condemning you. There is so much that I don't know about you. Thank you for your willingness to preach. But please don't listen to doctrines of men. May we all identify with Jesus Christ in every part of our lives...Amen

We thank God for grace. However, there is something slight you may have missed, if you are truly saved you wont sin however you want, because you should have conviction within you. He made an example of being drunk (which was an example in place for any sin) and that there should be conviction in you. He went on to say, if fail to have that conviction after sinning then it means you were never saved to begin with. So no, he's not saying we should sin however we want.
