Dear friend, I have recently bought the cheap version of this kit with just the universal adapter. Not able to find the connector to go on the blue hose which is supposed to connect to the compressor. Could you please share some link about the connector. All i got to know was it requires 1/4 BSP connector..
TBcanuck The blue hose can also be connected to the coolant intake and the line below the gauge connect to the cone adapter that goes into the rad cap.
Is this kit necessary or can a cooling system be filled and allowed to self-bleed air from the system? Self-bleeding would understandably mean adding fluid as air burps from the system. Aside from that issue, what's the down side of self-bleed vs the convenience of using this type of kit? Finally, now that you've had the kit for 4 years, what are your likes and dislike about the kit? What do you wish was better about the kit, if anything? Thanks for the video! 👍
Some engines cannot be "self bled" or burped naturally. Many engines have air pockets, or high spots which will never fill naturally due to lower points in the system. Kind of like when you turn a glass upside-down then submerge it. The air stays in and is trapped.

The kit work good for the price. Having all of the adapters is the key feature for the price.
