This week we welcome the talented Oceanvs Orientalis (Live) [Magic Movement] and LUM [Rebellion]. Fresh off performances at Maya Hearts and Day Zero, in Tulum, Mexico... these talented newcomers are taking the world by storm with their fresh take on electronic music -- consisting of a plethora of world music influences laid upon a bed of slowly percolating grooves, creating a sound that is deep, intelligent and altogether infectious while remaining danceable.
Turkish-born producer Oceanvs Orientalis exploded onto the scene last year with his live set, consisting of original productions and remixes -- a hypnotic blend of Middle-Eastern inflected slow-groove house. Fresh off recent gigs in Tulum, Mexico for Maya Hearts on NYE 2016 amongst others, Oceanvs is currently putting the finishing touches on a full length album. His sound blends itself with the archaeological tunes of mankind’s cumulative musical history and in this very context, he believes that “everything comes from the east”. Oceanvs Orientalis, where tunes are not in a hurry.
