Whew! This is finally done Orz we started this up in January but due to life, and other timed releases, and me going on vacation for 2 weeks, it kept being pushed back ;w; so sorry, everyone! Welcome, to Froggie for singing with our group! I don't think there is any other release of this song with any group or with subs on youtube so we're the first if I'm not mistaken! Woohoo! Thank you to Haruka, who translated the song as well. Disclaimer: The majority of the lyrics are actually quotes taken from the game of karuta, which causes the translation and progression of the lyrics to come out a little odd at times.
Actually, when I went to Japan a few weeks ago, I found the box set for this song and bought it in Akihabara. Not only is it the cd but it also includes the playing cards that are shown in the video. It's super cute and I was thinking of making it a prize for an upcoming competition we may be holding 8Df shhh! shhhh!

I'm sorry, this was lovely, but I had no clue half the time who was singing what. The lyric colors were to similar at points, and the times they were mixed together was too confusing. The voices were great though, I did enjoy this.

I love the song, but I'm confused as to the story. Someone mind explaining?

this is just my guess of what the story is:
it's a little village where there is a... i guess the best translation of it would be fundamentals of playing a card game called "karuta" and that's how it's run. the princess makes a getaway and runs into a wondering samurai, who thought she was a wondering ninja. they both chat over tea. the fire fighter (i'm just speculating on len's role in the story) cries out BATTLE and the tea house girl whines again?!... and some karuta lines i don't know since i am not familiar with japanese literature...
then there is a detective and the princess asks if he is looking for something. he was going to say something to the extent of looking at the sky through a reed when someone calls out thief. the thief took something and the detective arrested him. the thief whined about being caught with the princess pointing out that he's under arrest.
the tea house poster girl is causing a fuss over not being in love and the fire fighter is mean to her. the samurai and princess give her some level of hope.
the firefighter says that putting out the fires is a family thing. ... not sure what it means to give a demon(oni) a iron bar but it must be bad enough that the guy has to get back to fighting fires. ... more karuta lines...
then princess wonders what "living the smart life is but then explains that everyone in the town explained it to her. back to the tea house poster girl, something happened but she was just being a bit slow. then the firefighter, villager, detective and samurai all say a wise word which i can't really figure out the meaning... and princess says it's like dreaming of Kyoto and Osaka. then more karuta lines...
i hope this is somewhat helpful and please don't take my guess seriously because my japanese understanding is trash.

Omg I'm seriously, _seriously_ late to the party; I missed this one apparently ; 3 ;. Everyone is so on point!!! Froggie is here and great, Rennas more static pitches are sooo satisfying, Ikon's voice is as cute as ever, Squadus bursting ovaries since 1897, and USACHIIIIIIIIIIII. Aaaaah another cover with Usachii is always a good good 😊.

It's sad because it's called Iroha ni Jinseicho and it doesn't have Nekomura Iroha in it. Anyways, you guys sound great, as usual! I just love what you guys do!
