You easily remark by the half point that both characters are in a similar psychological state. They actually a similar comparison in tale of melodies with even more darker themes.

I have always love the Visuals, the Literature Style, the SunSet/Sun Rise Orange setting to this show. The fast moving cloud moments always spaced me out, but I take it there where trying to tell us that a certain person was gazing at the sky for so long that time flew by and explains fast moving cloud for the audience. I think this anime came before Clannad, and if it did, I would say that this anime paved a way for Clannad being an Anime...for than just a Visual Novel Game.
it came after all keys adaptation. but clannad is the last key adaptation. Actually, only Clannad from keys was done basically at the same time than ef memories.
Part of the anime’s multistory telling is what inspired me to write my interracial love stories interwoven into one, done like this. As my new year resolution, I’m going back to finish the story I began three years ago!! SO HELP ME GOD!!

It's because people are so narrow minded and can't accept the views and opinions of others. I personally love Clannad and I think it's my favorite show of all time. I also like EF as well. Both shows have strong points and weak points. I praise Clannad for its story telling and characters while I praise EF for it's incredible writing/unique story telling and stunning visuals/presentation. Both shows do a good job at what they were intended to do, no more no less.

For some reasons this show reminds me of the fantasy of somehow being in the Book of Babel. It's world where you are in an infinite library, and there are no exists, and pretty much you are stuck there within all the books there will ever be created. I also often fantasize about a Hollywood film that has the main guy save the world, but the cost was for him to spend the rest of his days in the book of babel, losing his mind as we tries to find an exit, but the exit will never come, and we hear this song during the credits. changing the lyrics to "Say goodbye to the world that I left behind" "Get to the new world...someday, soon I believe"

It's one of the best english anime songs sung by a Japanese singer. I watched ef- a tale of memories right after Higurashi and this op is much better than Higurashi's ed, both being in english.

It's because people are so narrow minded and can't accept the views and opinions of others. I personally love Clannad and I think it's my favorite show of all time. I also like EF as well. Both shows have strong points and weak points.
