All of these comments about this Lady are positive....and are completely blind to the fact, that the Holy Bible neither makes, nor gives, any room or place for a Woman to Preach in Church. The Holy Bible, through what the Apostle Paul tells us, forbids it! It is clearly stated:"But I suffer not (Meaning, I do not allow), a Woman to speak (Have authority over others, as a leader), in Church, but to be in silence, and if she will learn anything, let her ask her Husband at home. There may be others, who spoke on this very same thing, and that absolutely forbade Women to speak in Churches, such as this.
Why, then, do many Denominations continually turn a blind eye, and a deaf ear, to this subject? God's Word, the Holy Bible, is absolute! If God told us not to do something.....then why are they doing it? Why are they disobeying God's Holy Word?
Let that sink in for a bit..........
Touch not God's anointed. If there are women in your church that have any form of ministry, then you're in hypocrisy. it doesn't just talk about preaching. Does it? It says for women not to teach well? Then if you have women, teaching sundayschool or if you have women over the nursery. Or if you have women running a Women's ministry or if one woman utters 1 word. When they walk into your church, then you're in hypocrisy - Don't take one sentence of the verse, before you criticize. You need to study the historical background. Paul said, "Do not forget the women who labor among us." Both priscilla and her husband Aquila taught the gospel. Deborah was a judge over the children of Israel. Anna was in the temple along with Simon. She served with fasting's abd prayer and also held the Lord Jesus Christ. Paul went to the seaside, and four women prayed over him and prophesied over him.
Brother, only those not called and anointed. The Word says, "In CHRIST there is neither male nor female. " The Word "Christ" means: the anointing of God.
The answer to the passage you quoted (I Corinthians 14:34,35) is: "What?! Did the Word of God come out from you? Or did it come only to you?!" (I Corinthians 14:36) Then Paul said if they are spiritually minded (or discerning) they'd know that what he wrote on the matter came from the Lord.
You see the whole epistle of I Corinthians was in answer to questions put forth by the elders of the Corinthian church. For instance, in I Cor. 7, Paul says to them, "Now concerning the things of which you wrote unto me.." and other parts of the epistle, let us see that Paul is responding to prior communications he had with those elders.
With the verses you quoted viz., I Corinthians 14:34, 35, Paul was literally +quoting+ that which the elders had said to him in a letter. He gave forth his answer in verse 36 (which I quoted.) They believed Paul was wrong to allow women to preach, and he answered by saying that what he'd told them prior, regards women preaching/teaching were the commandments of the Lord.
Wining souls from the pit hell that is what we need to do.
