A quick build tutorial on making flexible roads for wargaming in various scales. These are more of my felt-backed terrain pieces for use on fleece mats.
Thank you for sharing. I use the WWS basing glue and layering glue on all my terrain projects. The layering glue is great for coating the projects and toughness. What makes their glue exceptional is the flexibility as you mentioned and it does not shrink and is nearly crystal clear. I use lacquer spray over the glues all the time with no noticeable loss of color.
Hey Big Lee! Great looking roads & tracks that are dead easy to make. There is nothing more annoying than having terrain features sliding around all over the place... so... the "gripping" feature is greatly appreciated. Thanks for sharing the "How To" with us! My Ol' Tabletop will soon be looking better. Thanks Again!
Hi Lee, once again an excellent tutorial video. You’ve certainly gotten my creative juices flowing. Any plans on doing another tutorial on making rivers?

I've not used their layering glue or lacquer but I may give them a try after the success of the basing glue.

Oooer 😆 I may do, but I've run out of felt for the time being.
Great video and I remember fuzzy felt 👍👍
Glad you enjoyed it
Great tutorial. I've been experimenting with caulk but this is actually better!
I've used caulk before and it makes really durable terrain. But it's also very messy (at least the way I used it!)
A great tutorial. I am trying different methods for making Cobblestone roads, with mixed success.
I guess it depends on the scale you need. I have used imprinted card stock with cobbles before, but of course that's not flexible or felt backed.
@@MiniatureAdventuresTV I have used printed cobblestones on card stock, but at 28mm, it doesn't really look good.
Fantastic how-to. Thanks! :)
You're welcome!
Nice work Mr. Lee!
Thank you kindly
Looking great.
Thank you
Looks great!
Thanks!
Nice. Cheers from 🇨🇦
Thanks 👍
My kids still play with fuzzy felt but it's my old ones from when I was a kid. I believe you can still get knock off versions though.
Hi Lee, what's the bugle call at the start of your video? I use the Cavalry Charge call
It's called Officers Call, played by the U.S. Marine Corp Band and available for free use via the UA-cam Audio Library.
Would you recommend spray varnish as a final stage?
I'm not sure it would be flexible enough...I could be wrong, but I only use varnish on hard surfaces.
Sorry my hearings not great, is it wall felt or wool felt
Lol, wool felt 😆
