I was traveling across the US when I found this song. One night in particular, as I traveled through the New Mexico desert, I remember listening to this song as the sun set over the native American ruins. So sublime. Weeks later became homeless in CA ,so your comment hit home. Best year of my life😊

This song is so deep not for its lyrics but the feelings behind it. Her heart is just oozing out all over the track. It has such depth. You can play this track a million times and it would sound just as sweet every time. I like to replace Hannah with My own name and sing it to myself. Tear jerker
One of my ex gf's introduced me to Hiatus Kaiyote, Spinetta and a plethora of incredible music. She kinda shaped my self steem via sex, desire and teenage drug experimentation. I broke up with her like 4 months into the relationship, she was a heavy drug user imo, but the music and feelings she made me discover stays with me. Fun , just like Hiatus
Whilst I would say Choose Your Weapon is their best album there's just something so healing about Tawk Tomahawk. No matter how many times I listen it touches me ❤
I remember when I first heard this amazing song back in 2012, listening to all the indie sounds on my phone while working my crappy job in Canada's harsh winter in Alberta. What a time to reflect back on, and this song transported me back to that time nicely. We really did have a 'time' as millennials to be fond of, now we're all getting older and settling down. Also Melbourne, it's really sad to see that the city that fostered acts like hiatus kaiyote is a facsimile of what it was, live music now is just cover bands and tributes now, catering to the only demographic that can afford to go out, live music venues being shut down, I was lucky to be there for the end of it when the 2010s were coming to an end.
