  • When you're an anaconda you don't need venom to take down your prey, even if it's the world's largest rodent, a capybara, weighing somewhere in the neighborhood of one hundred pounds!

    Gotta love it when a nature documentary feels the need to make a simple predator/prey interaction look like a fricking Michael Bay movie. We don't need dramatic music, fifty cuts in five seconds, and footage from ten other shows, just show the damned snake attacking the rodent.

    wait, if it takes several days to digest that giant beaver, does it just lie there for 7 months? can it even move after swallowing that shit? and shouldn't the snake in this stage when eating it, be very afraid of other predators`? I mean if it took 6 hours.

    • @AriET_
      @AriET_ 8 років тому +4

      They hide on the water till the digestion is over but they can get attacked and killed by crocodiles or jaguar

    is anyone else getting a little weirded out by his continual reference to the snake as "you"?
    "the big reason why you're so focused on a satisfying meal is because you're about to mate!"
    "once you get pregnant, you won't eat again until your babies are born."
    "your death grip is so fierce, your victim not only can't breathe, it's blood can't circulate!"
    "your elastic jaws begin swallowing your enormous victim, head first!"

I hope you can make more action predator prey videos for endangered species also and try to copyright them and sell them to elementary school children who could all benefit by viewing the biodiversity in action which we are rapidly loosing on the face of this precious one and only planet for us.

    Through the jungle there came a cute little snake,
    Not a care in the world 'cept for what road to take,
    And he slithered slithered left, and then a little to the right,
    Happy little snake hopefully gonna catch a tiny bite.
    Yay I just made a song up!
