I freakin' love this character. That may sound strange, but in Touhou verse the most sympathy and affection i feel for strong humans, rather than youkai. For when you overcome human thresholds. You become something like a youkai yourself (or THE youkai as such in her case). It's kind of romantic. And heroic so. (In her case) Deny all humanity, for the sake of salvation and preservation of what is important to you. What you lived for in the first place. Tarumi, character of tragedy, drama and epicness. Even being only human. Of flesh and bone. She lived for 360 years. As Human who able to knock out any opponent who lived at that time (1800 years ago) with a naked fist. An ultimate powerhouse... A superhuman legend. A World Yamataizer. Yamatai Prime Minister, Takenouchi no Tarumi.
@@fadillah6014 She have more parallels with Byakuren Hijiri or Mononobe no Futo than Reimu. Reimu is mostly humanly human, not being youkai or immortal or whatever. Just a youkai exterminator with myriads of experience in her short life. I'd say Reimu is kind of a genius in her sphere because for all her carrier there is none defeats. (or almost none... there's none fatal defeats for her at least)

@@Black-o-White no not Reimu but old Hakurei miko a fan-character she most used on Mugen character, she using bare hand for youkai extermination.

Not sure what it is about fan made stage five bosse themes, but they are amazing! (I am specifically talking about rss, bosm, sss, Hsob and asl)
