Or in my case, the first (and so far only) time I DM'd: the "this is meant to be a one-shot but I guess I didn't plan it right so now it's a two sho--oh, I mean three--FOUR shot! Don't worry, you're almost at the end, just like one more sess--oh, you're all bored of it and want to drop? O-okay." 😅
The entire campaign one shot was such a slimecicle thing especially the amount of funny references. Also the clay puzzle took the most time to solve and slime lost his sanity over it
He told them exactly what to do too it’s just that he had to explain to Jacob that he can have his character do things but the environment and consequences are up to the dm and the dice immediately prior. So he was just like “oh so I can eat dirt if I want to?” And he’s like “technically yeah I guess.” and since it was fresh in their minds they wanted to eat the clay and they were just extremely stubborn about it.
Found out the whole 4+ hr game was streamed and is available to watch on youtube searching Jaiden dnd. Haven't watched yet but I heard a lot of fun parts had to be left out in the animation
I’ve been playing dnd four about 5 years. It’s so much fun experiencing the game with the party. My most liked and first dnd class is warlock. The story and relationship you can make with your patron is very fun to do.
Played through a 1-20 campaign for 3.5 years and now I’m running my own campaign as DM. Druid and barbarian are my favorite classes with Druid as number one. I just love DnD so, so much! Best activity ever!
I'm part of two campaigns, one as DM and the other as a player. As a player, I've got Roland, a goblin gunslinger. He's the somewhat normal one in a group of weirdos. His main weapons are a pair of revolvers and a shotgun that flings him back 10ft when he fires it. The thing is that Roland was a replacement for my previous character who died to a pissed off fae lord. My previous character was probably the most fun one I've ever had. He was Tim, a skeleton druid. He was just some normal dude who had a knack for druidic magic a couple hundred years ago, when he was the fantasy equivalent to a park ranger, taking care of the local forest. One day he was mauled to death by a local bear named Big Booty Bertha, and given a proper burial. There he remained until eventually a bored necromancer's apprentice was fucking around and brought him back to life, but wandered off before he could dig out of his grave. From then on he worked as an adventurer because no way in the seven hells was a skeleton going to get a normal job. He was a ton of fun to play, with his wild shapes being skeletal version of the beasts, and *so many* chances for puns.
I play D&D, and my all time favorite class, is sorcerer, I almost ALWAYS pick it when I do character creations, as I just love being able to cast magic at will, not have worry about taking 1d4 damage from ANYTHING, or have to answer to an all powerful being in anyway
I've yet to play D&D specifically, but got into Pathfinder 2e a few months ago. I've played three one-shots since then where I've tried the Barbarian, Cleric and Monk classes, out of which I've enjoyed the Cleric the most. Cleric is also what I'll be playing when we start a full campaign in the spring (though a Warpriest this time as opposed to the Cloistered one I tried in the one-shot), but I'd also _really_ like to try out the Kinetecist some time.
I find it hilarious how Don is finding it all hilarious. Meanwhile Ren (I think as subtitles didn't catch her name in the only one I found them introducing themselves) just looks concerned for the story.
Been a player for a year in an actual campaign for half a year and if some of the things about our party would be out in the open we would be thought to be criminals and monsters
I played as a paladin once in my first dnd campaign with my younger brother and a classmate from uni, and we had a banger of a time full of laughter and frustration from our own stupidity 😅😅😅😅 I want to start again as a paladin again or a fighter 😂😂😂😂
Dnd is so much fun to play, although I've only played about three separate games (first two ending due to bad dms) it was still fun to see all the random stuff that can happen! Like the current game our wizard was trying to divine something but failed and gave into madness, she tried eating my books cause she thought they were jelly beans and called me "Rainbow Crow". My group had to baby sit them until their madness went away lol. Plus the sweet karma that sometimes comes. In the first game I played with high school friends, I was playing an elf paladin and we had another paladin who was dragonborn. Our characters mostly fought for leader positions. But sometimes the dragonborn would legit try to hit my character. But every time he tried he rolled a nat 1, the ultimate fail, and ended up hurting himself. It felt so good :D
I thought about playing dungeons and dragons my oc would be a Trojan general who suit of armor was made by viracocha and my sidekick a otter named Ottawa with a big heart and a small bladder and my French girlfriend hoby would be princess of the owl kingdom and her dress hand made by Apollo and crown made by Thor
Some people use a format called One Shots... basically short stories/ adventures that can be done in one sitting.
One shots are so fun... and so chaotic!! My DM is doing a one-shot...and we already set a town on fire... and committed sacrilege...
Yeah their game took 4 hours

@@IceMetalPunk extremely relatable I have yet to finish DMing a one shot in one session
Lol the reference to "Would you still love me if I was a worm?" 😂

Like the clay part 💀 “I’m eating gravel right now! The secret has to be one of these rocks” 💀💀💀
@@Seventh_Shade ranboo choosing to eat gravel just seems so normal tbh
1:16 You know there's one shot campaigns which this sounds like it probably is

You know if you don't have time for a full campaign, you could just try a oneshot just like Jaiden with friends in this
Completely didn't even think of that...we'll definitely look into that!
Hello-
One thing I have to mention. They played Phasmophobia directly after the D&D game, and the first ghost they met was Mark Thompson-
I'm part of two campaigns, one as DM and the other as a player. As a player, I've got Roland, a goblin gunslinger. He's the somewhat normal one in a group of weirdos. fun fact zoot has a tounge tattoo that they use as their spell focus as spell casters need a focus to use spells

I would agree if it's Wild Magic Sorcerer
18:33 the music here is so good

He was the branch manager I can’t believe it took me this long to realize!

16:05 Thalamu’s face 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Where have I seen this before? 🤔
@@MangoLeaf9103 yes 😑 I know I have made this comment before don’t judge me

2 things all dnd parties do, attack innocent people/creatures from fear especially after a perception roll, and suck in puzzles.
I'm a big Paladin main. It's so nice to have a lore hook built into your class, and Paladin can cover just about any role you need in a party
I played as a paladin once in my first dnd campaign with my younger brother and a classmate from uni, and we had a banger of a time full of laughter and frustration from our own stupidity 😅😅😅😅

I also liked and subscribed!

I usually play Paladins or Monks, but I'm currently playing an Artificer, and I'm also considering trying out a Bard.

You should watch Dimension 20: Fantasy High
Ive played 2 campaigns and both times I was a fighter cause I don't know how to do anything but hit people in a fight
You can talk to the animals if your a Druid and have Speak With Animal!

You should watch the new DnD movie. Its legit good.
