Funfact about the imps designs. Imps have black and white horns: male horns have thick black and white stripes while females are mostly solid black with thin white stripes.
Millie's sister, Sally may, has horns with thick black and white stripes, implying that sally may used to be a male imp.
IIRC It's been confirmed she's Trans and her VA is as well.

Also male imps have a white hair while female imps have a black hair. You can see a spot of white in Sallie May's hair implicating that she dyed her hair.

Now that we're in the Wrath Ring, we see that the place is like a desert and has an orange sky. Oftentimes these weapons are sold in Hell's black market, and sometimes the weapon is then reforged to be made into a different weapon, and in this case, a sniper rifle. Reforged Angelic Spears are then classified as Blessed Weaponry, and as far as we're concerned, it is the only weapon that can truly kill Sinner Demons and apparently Demon Royalty. Have I mentioned that Sinner Demons are basically immortal and can only be killed by holy weapons? Sinners do need to serve their eternal punishment after all.

@@xXSamir44Xx Yes, "technically" immortal, dying again and again is still a kind of punishment. Unless what killed them is holy/blessed/angelic weaponry. People aren't sure how they reform, some say it's by spawning back like in video games when the body cant regenerate.

Imps I believe develop those white patches as scars from injuries, while Blitzø has a good portion of white patches (meaning he was probably in a pretty big accident/fight at some point) Moxxie doesn't really have any white patches, save for his "acne scars" on his face. Again indicating Moxxie has had a more privileged upbringing than most Imps.
Loona's so pretty in her new outfit. Pretty rare to see her out of her usual attire.
Can't wait to see you guys react to episode 6. You're NOT gonna be disappointed

This encounter with Striker should give IMP a serious wake up call. They were taking things too lightly until Striker came along. The team really need serious training when they face Striker again. Thanks a lot Loona for ruining it.
This may be an allusion to the fact that characters in general always play around too much instead of defeating the opponent.
Moxxie had several chances to finish off Striker.
And the appearance of Loona was, of course, on the one hand a gag, and important for the second season... but let's wait and see.Indeed. But i am a little bit unsure exactly why this happend..
@@GirlofCulture Blitz was almost about to join Striker even though Striker never truly respected him and the other members of IMP. Striker was toying around his opponents the most and it caused him his chance to kill Stolas. He didn't kill Moxxie and Millie when he had the chance and this came back to bite him.
@@AH-is5yg Blitz wasn't actually gonna join him. He was just pretending. But what Striker told him really affected him and he's gonna think about it a lot.

Facts 🤩
There's a pretty extensive notes post by Understone, but there's something I can add.
1) The caste system is once again quite central to the episode. This is evident with both how Stolas' views Imps and treats them.
2) It seems like Blitz was for a small moment genuenily considering Striker's proposition
3) Something to note for the future; Blitz didn't disagree with Striker's world view and made sure to note that the "fucking was transactional".
It did look like Blitz was considering it, so if he was indeed just stalling for time it was some damn good acting on his part 🙂
He said "fucking was transactional" because he did not want Striker to think otherwise. That is part of his insecurities, the whole series is kind of about him actually having feelings for Stolas, but never being able to admit it. This especially can be seen in the later episode where Stolas gets hurt.
Its nice how supportive Millie and her family are in terms that they know Sallie Mae is a woman
If you hear sirens in the distance, do not be alarmed. That's only the sound of Norman Reedus stealing the show.

9:34 if you look at stolas at the top right in the booth you can see him getting excited and fanning himself faster when he sees blitz get on top of striker.
Remember when I said they removed the white in Millie's hair after the pilot? Millie's sister is why. It's likely they didn't want to cause any confusion because of the sexual dimorphism shown in imps (the hair and the horns).
Also, Blitzo lies to Stolas when he said he's never been to Wrath, as even he admitted alongside Verosika that he stole her credit card and used it for horse riding lessons in Wrath. He likely didn't want to bring her up.
Good memory on Blitzo already being to wrath 🙂
This episode really shows Imps and Hellhounds are the lowest social class in hell. The way Stolas calls them 'little imps' and 'commoners', Strikers remark 'not many imps start their own businesses', his whole pitch of how the game's rigged against them, and they deserve better
Credits for the lovely Bethany again, because she was the first person i've seen watching this and realize.. "How did Striker survived Millies attacks?" He stabbed him multiple times in the side, which is 100 % deadly, and so far we don't know if he used magic or something like that...

Maybe Imps are more resilient than humans? That sort of attack would definitely kill a human, but we don't know too much about an Imp's biology. Is it partly supernatural? Since regular fire has no effect on them, (or their clothes it seems) it'd have to be. As no earthly creature can really stand up to intense heat. (Making me wonder if they could ignore a blowtorch's white/blue flame?).
Along with Norman Reedus, they’ve also got two big-name youtubers, the voice actor behind Invader Zim, and two Broadway actors
We heard about those from other episodes but didn’t recognize the names. So this was our first one where we really knew the star 🤩😀

Ah, my favourite episode, I’m gonna she’d some more facts
Millie’s sister Sallie May is actually trans as pointed out by her horns, and her voice actor also voiced the fish monster from episode 3
Stella isn’t necessarily hiring Striker to kill Stolas because he cheated, but mainly because he cheated with an Imp, which are considered to be the lowest of the low
When Striker is first introduced, you can see Blitz gawking at him, but he’s actually staring at his horse, Blitz has an unhealthy obsession with horses as seen in their instagram acounts which you should definitely check out sometime
And yes, Striker is played by the famous Norman Reedus, but they were able to get other big time actors to play characters, Moxxie by Richard Horvits for example who also played a lot of kids cartoon show characters, the Genie from Aladdin and Broadway’s Beetlejuice will also make an appearance, and I even heard that the creator wants Mark Camil to play one of their characters
Love that they give Blitz a seemingly random obsession with horses and hint at it along the way in each episode 🙂
Oh don’t worry, you’re gonna get two Broadway actors in another episode singing with each other as well.

First few times I've seen episode I was also wondering why Striker didn't seem to get hurt from being stabbed multiple times like that, but just a few moments before in the episode they explain that a blessing tipped rifle, or angelic technology, can kill demon royalty, and his little attempt to recruit Blitz, about killing the unkillable and taking down overlords. He's not a normal looking Imp, I wonder if he's actually higher up on the food chain than one would expect, maybe some demon royal blood in him.
That would explain why he can just shrug off getting stabbed several times and break Millie's arm like a twig.
He's also rather large for an imp. Your theory does make sense.

This is probably tied as best episode for me between it and Episode 7 so far. Im glad the story is trying to get deeper into the characters and adding some conflict among them.
That’s what sets a great comedy from just a good comedy. Character development and a richer story 🙂 humor is better as well that way when it’s not all one big joke 😀

This episode blown up the social media to the moon with surprise guest of Norman Reedus being the “Bad Guy” Striker and also bring up transgender Imps to show up in cartoons. With that said, Salie May is a transgender imp that you can see by the horns. Male imp horns are White/Black and females are Black with thin white stripes. It seems to make artist work be easy to understand how Viziepop art style branching more out. 😁 So I can’t wait to let you two witness a huge bloody fight for next episode.

While this episode IS impressive, what fascinates me the most are the implication for the future.
Not just it establishes a new possible recurring villain (Striker) but it also shows how far Stella's wrath can go and I wonder how their family relashionship will develop... not much between Stella and Stolas, but between Stella and Octavia!
Cannot wait for you to check the next episode because, I can already tell, you will be impressed.
Also, fun fact, something that was hinted in the comments section of one of the past episodes: Sallie May, Millie's sister, is trangender as you can notice from the striations on her horns... as is Morgana Ignis, her VA.

In case you didn't know, most higher ranked and powerful residents of Hell, such as Stolas and those even ranked higher and more powerful than him (can't spoil much in case you haven't seen Hazbin Hotel which takes place in the same universe as Helluva Boss), are practically immortal and can't die from human made weapons or even weapons forged in Hell itself (unlike lower ranked Hell residents like Imps) but only certain weaponry crafted from heaven are capable of killing them so that weapon right there that Stryker had at trying to assassinate Stolas was probably crafted from materials formed from Heaven mixed with bits of other parts from Hell to create a literal demon slaying weapon and it's obvious they are rare and hard to come by.
Thanks for giving us some more background info on the special gun needed to kill higher demons 🙂

Hmm, no mention of the drops of framerate in this one. It always stands out to me. I guess it was a budgetary or scheduling limitations that had them cut back on the in-betweens.

Just awesome 😆 seeing as there are currently only two episodes left do you know which series you will react to next? You could do Hellsing Ultimate Abridged by Team Fourstar for more dark Humor, "swearing, over the top violence and unnessacary screaming" (a direct qoute from one of the episodes^^). Team Fourstar humorously abridged a few things for years and the Hellsing and Dragonball Z abridged series started humble but build them a solid fanbase that allowed them to make content since 2009 and are also something that get many reaction channels a ton of subscribers for a reason😉
We are going to check out Hazbin Hotel pilot and then some Dragon Ball Z abridged. Though since it’s a long series we are looking for another series to watch alongside it 🙂

I also liked that this was the first step for an overarcing story, at least where you get there will be one. Just to warn you, I've expected that the next episode would continue this plot, but it won't. Because of that expectation I was a bit dissapointed at first, but it is a really good episode and the longes one so far.

So the rattlesnake effect for Strikers tail I am guessing has to do with the association with rattlesnakes in some parts the biggest example I recall being in old western movies or games and such they would describe a untrustworthy person as rattlesnake-like, meaning that this is a person you don't wanna let you guard down around and you should keep your eyes on them at all times because they can be unpredictable.
Some other things I wanna bring up is of course Sally-Mae, Millie's sister who it's hinted at being a transgender girl, the thing is it's more than hinted at it's been confirmed a couple of times by Vivzie and also by the fact that Sally-Mae's voice actor Morgana Ignis is a trans person and has been very open about the fact that her character is trans as well. The biggest clue to the character being trans is the horns due to male imps having thicker stripes on their horns, this also shows off that in universe even if an imp undergoes their version of HRT it seems like their horns will always be a dead give away. There are also minor things like male imps tend to have gray/white hair while females tend to have black hair, that is however not true 100% of the time as there apparently is a male imp seen in Loo Loo Land that has black hair.
And the last thing I'm gonna comment on is that during the entire season pretty much every line of dialogue even how innocent or comedy-filled they seem can or will come back to play a role in the coming episodes. I will be watching excitedly to see if any of you pick up on any of the very subtle things that have been going on ^_^

Idea: Blitz´ is rationally speaking, he is kind of an asshole. Especially towards Moxxie. But nobody is an asshole just like that, there are always reasons for that. And I wonder if Millie, as a woman (who we can be more empathetic), understands what's going on inside Blitz, unlike her husband, and that's why she's always telling Moxxie not to get upset, or if maybe she's just naive, which I hope she's not....

Blessed weapons come from weapons left behind by some angels after the annual extermination of sinners in the Ring of Pride. Demons pick them up, reforge them, and then sell them in the black market, which is where Striker most likely got his blessed weapons capable of killing demon royalty.

Concerning Striker, it's always been my theory that he's not a pure Imp. Given his coloring, his eyes, that oversized gold fang, and all the snake sounds he makes, I believe he's part snake demon.

This is my least favorite episode so far, and it is still good, i love the shot with the vulcanos and Blitz´ face when the dragonhorse arrived. And some great fighting scene.. it is getting more serious.. but for personal reasons, this episode it hits me in the feelings.
Back in the day: My girlfriends Mother never accepted me, my Mom never liked my girl either, but my Mom and her Mom were good, her dad liked me, but she doesn't get along with all my brothers... i never could fixed that. Ugh...
Funfact: Sally Mae is a confirmed transexual character here, which is pretty nice, because Joe and Lin were ... you know "this" kinf of people you might not accept that, but that was the whole point. Nobody was talking about that fact: She likes to be this way. The end. No glorification. No shaming.

I do like how they didn’t draw attention to the fact that she was trans. Like you stated, there was no shaming or glorification. Just like no one shamed or glorified anyone for being male or female, straight, bi, whatever. In this show characters just are who they are 😊😀

Sallie May who is Millie’s sister is actually a transwoman voiced by a transwoman. They confirmed it in a panel or podcast. Something you can notice is that the horned are broad white and black stripes like all the males have while females have mostly black with a thin white line.
Also males have white hair while females appear to have black hair, if you look at Sallie May you will notice a white patch near the scalp while the rest is black which would insinuate that the hair is dyed black.
