Yes the chain was dull everybody I am and was fully aware of that lol. Yes I know how to sharpen it. I forgot my other chains in the truck and wasn't hiking out to get them. Not everything is 100% perfect all the time.
I appreciate that although there is a lot that's sketchy here and in most of your early videos you are getting things done and making your dreams a reality. And that's a lot more than can be said about many of us watching who have a big 'ol "to-do" or "wish" list but aren't making progress because of a bunch of excuses. Myself, included. I'm watching these from oldest to newest so looking forward to seeing how all of this turns out!
Ok, I know you've addressed the dull chain saw issue, I actually noticed it in your first vid. Made me nervous. A dull chain saw (or knife) is far more dangerous than a sharp one. Also, a chair is NOT a ladder, and your knee is not a saw horse. Not preachin here, just BE SAFE out there man. Love what you are doing and I'm enjoying watching your process, just want you to be able to enjoy this beautiful cabin long after the project is over. Thanks for sharing. God Bless!!
I like you KYLE that's why im gonna send you A file and book on how to sharpen your chain . Just messing with you but man that made me a little nervous imagine if you get hurt way back there a dull saw is not your friend my friend.Take some time and sharpen that bugger and you wont have to worry or work so hard.Just saying ,YOUR PLACE LOOKS GREAT AND YOUR DOING ONE HELL OF A JOB.
Lucky boy you are. Standing on a old wiggely chair running a dull saw with a loaded shot gun leaning right towards you. You better put that in your book and have pictures. Lol lucky
I've just stumbled across your videos. Great work brother! Love the cabin, epic! What a beautiful spot as well! Is it easy to buy land like that where you're at? Did you need permission to build your cabin? Enjoy and blessings from the UK !
yes I did and I love it. It goes super fast and is really effective. you just dont want it to get wet. with my overhang it wont ever see water so it wont be a problem. I saw quite a few cabins done like that in Alaska.

Don’t worry about the critics. Some times you just don’t feel like sharping the chain. We all get like that.
Great answer, one can deduce you have used a chainsaw more than 99% of people and know the signs.

I was going to right the same thing!
As soon as you start to fight the saw it's time to correct the problem or take a rest.
@@upperpine you got that right!

How many cans of the foam did you use on the whole project?
That chair will still make good kinling
Lol
haha that's what I have planned for it!
👍👍💕
A “stylin” frame job
Hey Kyle did you use spray foam for chinking? If so how do you like it? I’m thinking about doing that for my old cabin

@Hamilton Rodgers haven't had any problems with mice yet. They can get into any home regardless of what you use.
You gave me major anxiety watching you with a chain saw and wobbling chair.
Like your videos. You skipped a lot I would have loved to see.
Think your chainsaw needs sharpened
Dont try to cut with a dull saw- too hard on you and your equipt. That was just too painfull to watch!!
I just figured out why your subscribers have doubled in a couple days......its dull saw blade. Lol jk

Non è una bella cosa vederti lavorare non lavori bene e soprattutto sei costantemente nel pericolo di ferirti e poi affila questa catena sei penoso
