- NetherGames and Hyperlands are very similar, yet unique in their own way, and it causes there to be a lot of arguments and questions such as “which server has the better version of Bedwars” or “which server has the better version of Skywars”. But surprisingly enough nobody has tried to give an unbiased answer to those questions. So today ill be comparing the similar game modes on both servers with each other and answering the question of which server you should play on

@@Chr7st gonna be honest, cheating on nether games is a huge issue, however on hyper lands it’s way worse.
For me I’ve kinda just grown on nethergames in terms of skill and everything….so I’m pretty much used to ng kb and block lag so when I try other servers it feels very different

As a bridge player who has mained Hyperlands for the past 8ish months but recently started playing a lot of Nethergames bridge for the past 2 months I can say both are pretty good, the only thing wrong with hyper is that their bridge maps aren't the greatest and Nethergames height limit and block reg aren't that great either. But both servers are really good and give a good expirence.

You forgot to mention that hyper lands has tb squads and The blocks disappearing when you score a goal helps the fact that people use toxic strategies such as Sky bridging Side bridging and Spawn blocking because when you Side bridge you made yourself a path to where you can easily get in the goal and if you’re playing against a mobile player it’s impossible for them to counter that unless they’re insanely good and Spawn blocking is also annoying to counter

Well it depends because in bed wars on HyperLands if you do squads the max is 32 players and 8 islands which is different to me since I main NG and for HyperLands bw solos there’s 4 islands I’m pretty sure that are squads maps.
Another thing ng needs to add to bridge is breakable bridge so you can switch sides while wallrunning

I’ll honestly just play both servers and know that they are both good. They have their unique styles.

The competitive bedwars scrim community on hyperlands is also super active as well as bridge having its own discord
those are both unofficial
and I think that bw scrim community on NG is more active than on HL
HL Events is a cool server though and it has survived longer than any of the NG ones has
I reckon it's because NG has a larger casual playerbase than HL (skyblock, factions, etc)

The way nethergames did fix block lag is cool but I’ve been trying to play hyperlands because rn I have a issue with my acc and I can’t join other servers (idk why so I can’t play nethergames) but since I could play hyperlands it gave me some more confidence in the server. Besides the quick buy and slightly some Hit delay’s it’s pretty okay for me to play. Ofc nether games will be my favourite server always but. Right now hyper lands is giving me some confidence that they’re both great in there own way.

As a Hyperlands player. I will say that Hyperlands' management is not as perfect as nethergames do. Nethergames have a nice and good looking website while Hyperlands on have a tebex store with the default template ( back then. now they coded a better webstore with a custom domain name ).
About the gameplay. Hyperlands Is defeaningly better as the community is si active that u can even have fun talking in their discord chat for like solid 1 hour and never get bored.
Hyperlands been updating and perfecting their server recently. The updates are now more consistent and more. And the most important they listen to the community so flipping avacado jesus chr7st hello world sheesshh much

NetherGames hardly updates and maintains their services though. They only really care about the actual in game network.

I strongly agree, as after I played on ng a lot, it became so boring for me that I literally started playing prison in lifeboat. But for bedwars, I still prefer nethergames, as the maps are fast and fast game helps me out making my screentime short

So when I tried ng I was angry because when I try to speed bridge then I just glitch out and fall in the void. And the shop for mobile in ng bedwars is so bad and slow. And there are so many hackers in ng ,but when I found hyperlanfs I loved it, it solved all the problems which I had on hyperlands. So hyperlands is better in Mr opinion

Nether games has a lack of mobile players. I have been playing ng for a year now, never have I ever had a full solo/duo touch queue game. Another thing is a toxic community. I rarely can play 3 bedwars games before somebody starts getting toxic and salty. The last thing is maps (mainly tb maps) is the fact that most sweats only play certain maps. One way to fix this is by lowering the amount of spawn protection (you cannot place blocks here) on tb maps. You do bring up some good points about hyperlands being better than ng, but I haven't got to lvl 300 just to quit ng

I am an asia region player and I can't play on hyperlands due to low ping but nethergames have server for asia, so nethergames is the only option that we have.

Tbh i actually am a sweat on NG so like im pretty descent at pvp so like playing on Hyperlands was surprisingly easier cuz like there are a lot less sweats on Hyperlands. But i really like the fast paced gameplay on Ng's bedwars and the environment is a lot competitive which automatically makes u a much better player but like Hyperlands' SW is a lotttttttttttt better compared to ng's sw cuz of the fast paced gameplay. So basically i play bedwars on NG and skywars on Hyperlands. Just my opinion lol. Also i hate ng's block lag, like wth my blocks wont register mannnnn!

The only way i can play on servers is with a vpn cuz of my internet but nethergames doesnt let me use a vpn and hyperlands does so im forced to play that
I'm a NetherGames player, so ofc I would choose nethergames reason I've been playing ng for 1 year. But if I played hyperlands I would choose hyperlands. I also would like to know how is hyperlands kb with combos and blockclutclutching?
block clutching is great, and hyperlands kb is just like ngs except you stay on the ground for a bit longer, I mean go try it yourself

another reason i personally dont like hyperlands is that it only has NA region and many people are far away from NA so its usually laggy

The only time I ever played nether games is when I was banned on hyperlands (falsely) I personally like hyperlands a lot more and the best thing is the block placement reg is just so much better on hyperlands and overall the server is just so much more clean.

As a hyperlands main, I played the server first and grinded over 120 levels on there, then on ng its 60 but yknow levels on ng are easier to grind than on hyperlands, I had a friend who complained about the leveling system, hyperlands recently added boosters though so its pretty good

Imo Nethergames has the better skywars. Better kits and maps. Plus I feel like skywars should be a more fast-paced game, which it typically isn't on hyperlands.
But in ng whenever im inside of others goal it doesnt register but in hyperlands the goal registers so fast

Ik u love nether games nether games and so u might have good relations with the staff members. Can u plZ tell them to fix the messed up bridging or "block lag". I really like the server and that thing is the only reason I dot like playing on there.

Nether games block lag has been fixed now so I think it’s a winner for me
i like nethergames better but the block placements lag a lot, and every match i played was just full of hackers. The block placements in hyperlands doesnt lag and thats im able to clutch which im currently now practicing

I'm a Hyperlands bridge main. I once played nether games bw and it was extremely laggy on my old af pc. Also i found somethings weird, might be because I'm a hyperlands player. I play on 1.16.20, in the 1.16.100 + versions I get like 12 fps. Hyperlands support 1.16.20, I don't think hive or Nethergames support that. The sad thing is, if hyperlands doesn't support 1.16.20 (obviously it will not at one point in da future) I might have to quit MC multi-player, at least for a couple of years.

What is funny is I can bridge faster than a lot of pc players without crouching or jump bridging I just sprint and tap fast and I can bridge up to like 150 blocks at a time which is why I like nethergames

I'm an ex hyperlands main. I switched over to nethergames because of a glitch that set my render distance to like, 1.
I also didn't enjoy their skywars and bedwars mode as they felt pretty slow-paced and boring, and nethergames are typically fast-paced. Nethergames is a much more competitive server IMO, so I feel like their skywars is much better cause of that. I personally didn't really like hyperland's skywars, their kits aren't really that good, and I don't like their maps.
For overall enjoyment, I like nethergames more. The only time my blocks lag on Nethergames is if it's like, 4am and I'm still playing for some reason (getting put in a different region). I sometimes play on mobile and my blocks still never lag unless I'm in a different region. With hyperlands on the other hand, I've gotten ghost blocks despite having a good PC. I also win pretty easily on hyperlands, and I don't feel like I've really gone against competitive players even kind of often. Nethergames on the other hand typically has better players overall. There are usually mostly slightly below average players, a few average players then the competitive players. I find this more fun because I have to challenge myself a lot more to win games on nethergames.
So, for this I choose nethergames.
I also think Nethergames has better ranks. I have elite + on hyperlands and titan on ng. Even when maining hyperlands I started to regret buying elite +, as I didn't really feel like I got anything out of it, excluding someone to target me cause I have a rank. I've now had titan for 4 months now, I really enjoy the perks and I plan on buying it next month as well.

I just got on and didn't enjoy it, skywars loot table is very unbalanced and its kb makes it hard to combo people so there's not much you can do if you're out geared
Bedwars is still painfully slow and I don't really like the way their generators work. I wouldn't say its bad, but I didn't enjoy it then, and I still don't enjoy it now.
Man as an asian player I despise ng cause like I get 300 ping above on the server and the block lag is unbearable but like hyper isn't that great either 🙃🙃(260-280 ping), the only thing is I don't get block lag 😐

as a Hyperlands main and a Mobile player, i actually prefer Nethergames Bedwars over hyperlands, imo Nethergames Bedwars is better than Hyperlands Bedwars for a number of reasons like
1. easy quickbuy
2. hella good maps
3. more competitive
and so on
i prefer Nethergames kb over hyperlands
yea there are some issues like blocklag and all but they're not game breaking, yea it can get pretty annoying from time to time so to overcome them i usually have to bridge slow to make sure the block infront of me doesn't lag when i walk on it, but im actually fine with that
but for other gamemodes like The Bridge or Skywars or duels i prefer Hyperlands.
Nethergames Bridge maps are really cool, i prefer them over hyperlands map ( note : new maps have been added in Christmas update and imo one of them is as good,heck better than some ng bridge maps imo, just dk if that map is permanent or ita gonna be there till Christmas update only tho it doesn't look like Christmas-y at all )
for skywars Hyperlands is better cuz of multiple reasons like chests not being hella broken ( ng u can get a 3mins? strength pots )
there are many other really good gamemodes on ng also like skyblocks, the idea of having a pvp arena in skyblocks is really cool imo and the gamemode is hella good in itself

There is a community, there's an official event server which hosts competitions nearly daily and an unofficial bridge server which focuses on helping people get better at bridge.

Hyperlands is more fun (I'm a hyperlands player myself), but the bugs are insane and they rarely listen to community feedback most of the time
HyperLands Mod here! I respectfully disagree with the last part. I am glad that you find the server fun, but on the Discord server, we have a bug-reports channel which is monitored by our creativity department members, who can immediately see the bugs posted and fix them ASAP. For instance, in the release of the recent gamemode Spleef, there was a bug that players could tab out and would float for the game causing other players to lose in deathmatch. I submitted a bug report and they validated the bug report and had it fixed within a couple hours. Not only this, but like he said in the video, we also have our team play our gamemodes countless times prior to release to bug test them in hopes of limiting the amount of bugs that players have to come across. We openly accept feedback from our members because we would rather fix mistakes and have our players enjoy our gamemodes than ignore the mistakes and lose our playerbase. Thanks for playing!
@@itscountryboy I recall that a few months prior, over relentless feedback posted by me and a few associates regarding the bedwars bugs none were fixed/taken into consideration?? The tools were claimed to have no more dura issues, but they still do? There also used to be tons of suggestions with fixes and implementations for bedwars such as enchantment of tools & maybe fixing the absurdly high rate of gen at which sometimes gold would generate more than iron, which were all ignored? Again I haven't played Hyper in a while so I can't talk the same about the status now but from when I played with friends and we reported our bugs and others reported fixes and ideas, they were never really taken into consideration.
hyperlands.my fav was netherlands beacuse of the fun gamemodes until i heard of hyperlands. At the first time i didnt like it bc the matchmaking. Until they did put the matchmaking option for free.
