Nice walk. I could tell that you were getting cold. Sunday afternoon, right? All the stores are closed... You 're not a Mormon, or at least probably not an active one, since you didn't even linger or directed your cameras at the Temple or went for a walk around Temple Square, the Conference Center or the Church Office Building. ;) A Democrat too? It was cool going for a walk with you down on Broadway. It made me homesick. Thanks! ;)
Hmm, yeah, though I just came across the rally by chance. Generally walking around holding my gimbal/camera up will keep me warm, but this was my first walk so I didn't realize my sniffling would be recorded. Temple Square video here: ua-cam.com/video/5rGj0O3m4oI/v-deo.html
@@WalkSLC It's ok. At least you did it. Keep up the good work! I would love to see the crowds at Christmas activities downtown. specially if there is snow on the ground. Wear warm boots, a bennie and a scarf so you're not so cold. And hunting gloves so you can manage your camera and still keep your hands warm.
This was a Sony a6300, but most of my videos are with a Panasonic GX85. I use a Zhiyun Crane v2, which is necessary for smoother video (I am not walking very carefully so it still bobs up and down). This video uses a GoPro Hero 6 Black and Zhiyun Smooth 4 -- much more portable and looks pretty good to me: ua-cam.com/video/54aBeif3DiE/v-deo.html
You seem to have tunnel vision when you walk. You look around very few times and only at intersections. Show more of the interesting spots or pices of art and look up at the sky scrapers once in a while. Also film on a brighter day when it's not as gloomy. One more thing try not to sniff so much.
Hey, thanks for the feedback. This was my first video ever. I allow my gimbal to tilt now, and I use a wider lens so you can see more of what I'm walking past, architecture, etc. Most of the time I still look straight ahead though. I think this gives a more realistic feeling of walking down the street, because the viewer decides what to look at. It may not be for everyone, but there are plenty of vloggers who will show you specific sights.

Spent 10 years in SLC and I miss it every day. It's home to me.

It's very nice. I'd like to see The Temple.
Don't know if you mean in person, but I walk around the temple in this video: ua-cam.com/video/5rGj0O3m4oI/v-deo.html

What kind of camera do you use? For when I go visit other countries.

@WalkSLC, I like your approach--if the camera moves too much it makes the viewer dizzy. Keep up the good work!
