On Thursday I learned some pretty bad news about a close family member and some more bad news about my housing situation. Sturmling and I played a few rounds of IS-1 as a distraction/fun. Hope you enjoyed our handful of adventures.

its not that bad of a tank but is2 is better
I hate it too, same round and canon than the T 34 85, slower and a little more armored, but everybody know that your turret is your weekness
its great its almost as mobile as the T34 variant and it has better reverse speed. Armor can save you against lower pen guns which would normally pen the T34 through the front plate.
I see you didn't play real HEAVY tanks. This one has good mobility and decent armor. In this game, mobility is far more important than armor.
This reverse speed is a dream for 90% of tanks at this tier and will save you far more often than any armor would.

Bo, if you use the apbc round for the 85 you can pen anywhere on the front upper plate of the jumbo.

Is there some good reason that you never use your binoculars to shoot btw? Like when there's lots of smoke in front of you from gunfire or in general I don't think I've ever seen you use the binocular technique to shoot your gun
I do sometimes. I normally find the target on binos, click, then switch back to gunner as it rotates to the spot. I have had issues with the alignment of the shot through binos the past couple of months doing weird stuff. Basically internet issues I assume.

The flagship of 5.3 BR(365A) Russian Bias! The SU-85M, the KV-85, and the T35-85(D5T) Am I noticing a pattern here? That's a lineup, throw in a fighter, and a good Attack/Bomber, and you're set. This is the exact moment in history when the Soviets declared how Russia rolls. Over, everyone. That round is what holds them all together. Slow, heavy, methodical with good sloped armor, yeah. But the ability to 1 shot just about everything is what wins the battle!

With the capped 85mm you can shoot center of mass on jumbos. You don't have to shoot machine gun port.

I have to ask a question is there some difference to the game from PC to console? On console I get destroyed in fact think out of 1000 games maybe won 100 (guessing but its close) On PC its about 500 out of 1000 way different I dont get one shotted constantly from across the map where as on console I do repeatedly. I figured it would be the same either way because of the crossplay. Am I mistaken? I would ask in lobbies but no one ever speaks in game you are left to fend for yourself in a team based game.

This tank should be on 4.7 because even 5.3 you face lot of panthers that are hard to kill and those are meant to be medium tanks then there is is-2 and king tiger that you also lot of time face and against those tanks you dont have chance unless they dont know about you and you are facing to their side

BO YOUR GUN HAS A LOT OF PEN! IT CAN KILL EVERYTANK AT ITS BR FROM THE FRONT. EVEN 5.7S AND SOME 6.3S. AFTER ALL THE ROUND THAT YOU SHOULD BE USING IS THE BEST ROUND ON THE T-44 BY EFFECTIVENESS AGAINST ANGLED ARMOR.
Edit: finishing comment is, start aiming at flat places or angled plates on enemies plz. Just don’t shoot the panther in its angled plate.
